For those that have the £11 mini dv camera from ebay, where and how have you fixed it to something in the car? Went out earlier and all of the brackets seem useless, may just have to use copious amounts of tape and tape it to the rear of my rear view mirror
-
How do you do it yourself? Do you have all the equipment at home? Need to get mine changed over in a few days to winter wheels. That is all its worth IMHO lol
I get my wheels swapped for nowt twice a year. Oh yeah that's coz I do it myself you lazy people

Impressive quality for a budget camera. Do you have a link to the exact ones you bought? Would be interested to see a photo of how you attached it also.

Link doesnt seem to work.http://m.youtube.com...h?v=lhsOC4IFMuY
I've got three of these little keyring cameras which I just velcro in place.
For the money, those do look fairly decent. Been looking for something similar myself. Seems there is a gap in the market as it looks like there is nothing between these and the GoPro / Contour / Drift which are £150++

I always use v power now, generally it is only about 5p more expensive, so on a full tank, only £2.50 difference. Plenty of research out there to support the benefits, personally I stay away from supermarket fuel tho
-
why not buy a second hand one and I'll powder coat it to what ever colour you want. Will work out a lot cheaper.
Out of interest, how much do you charge for powdercoating a set of 18s?
-
If you want to see how many there are on the road now, use the link below. Looks to be 729 Gen 7 GT's, doesnt tell colour though.

You think that was good, go test drive a modded Scooby! holy CRAP, had my 1st drive of my brothers 400+bhp Scooby that cost him £1,500 and it is INCREDIBLE!
Scooby FTW

I have just moved from a Gen7 to a Impreza WRX and I can also say that I now love boost!
I did come across a gorgeous GT4 up for sale at a reasonable price recently, will post it up recently when I remember where it was.

Never thought a rabbit would do so much damage, will certainly try to avoid one if it jumps out on me. I hit a pheasant once, well it kind of flew into my front wing, but there was no damage, just a bit of residue to wipe off! This makes me think i was very lucky.

Know their are pros and cons to both (although warranties often aren't worth the paper they are wrote on once you read all the T&Cs), just wondered what people prefer? Tempted to buy my next car privately.

I recommend detail my car, as I am sure many others would.

Or try these guys, usually pretty competitive...

After checking Dau's FB it appears he is looking for a Honda Type R FD2, least its JAP
Thats the 5 door one isnt it? They are pretty rare, certainly make a lot of people take a second look though.
-
Anyone know how much Dau is after?
-
Those wheels look far too small for it, especially at the rear, hope you have some rims planned in the mod list?

As much as i love the celica, i can see myself moving on in the next couple of years, more than likely to a blobeye Impreza WRX300 or WRX with PPP.
Fighting the urge to go and see the below at the moment, as i am worried if i go, it will be celica. Although im not too convinced on the 30k from 3 owners claim.

Any local inside information on what the weather will be like? Seen so many mixed forecasts
-
I have certainly had more newsletters and facebook updates on japfest this year and seen it advertised in numerous magazines so expect it will be the busiest one yet.

I asked if he had a dyno for the 225bhp claim and got this response..
Hi ther, sorry no dyno however the trd is actually closer to 210bhp standard from factory and then a few of the mods I've put on it adds around 15-20bhp on to it, exhaust system, hks plugs and leads etc

Do you a link to the ones recalled by argos as thats where i bought mine!
edit: Just found it, will take it back for sure now! Of all the things to have a recall on, something that is holding 1.5 tonnes above someone.

It wouldn't count up the miles.
However I am sure I have read somewhere that you shouldn't run the car with the cluster removed. I have no idea why, aside from the legal point of not having a working speedo, but I'm positive I have read it somewhere.
Thats what i thought, even though it may not be thousands of miles, surely it is clocking the car. May need to improve my soldering skills so i know i can get it done in one day then!
-
If it's Spree's kit you'll be able to do it in a couple of hours easily.
Hadnt even come across spree, just taking a quick look now, looks like he only does gen6 ones but if he is experienced at soldering, may drop him a pm and see if he is able to do the gen7 ones. Did you have to solder individual smt leds or is it easier on the gen6?

Think this may be quite far away but Bedford Autodrome is awesome for a beginner. Loads of run off, great choice of tracks and tuition available
