Gone for 45s all round, have to admit I'm fed up with the harsh ride my 40s have given me.

Might get some Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta in that case then, they don't do them in a 45 so might save me the trouble in the mean time?

Hi All,

Wanted some new tyres for the front (Uniroyal Rainsport 2) but have just found out I'm currently running 215/40/R17 but the Gen 7 should have 215/45/R17.

My question is does having the 45 profile make a HUGE difference? If so looks like I'll be getting 4 new tyres as I am assuming you can't run 215/45/R17 on the front and 215/40/R17 on the rears?

They don't have the pistons and all that I remember it being said somewhere? Best thing to do would be to open it up and to be sure ..
