  1. I used this exact place for my tyres, I did it online, paid, got the fitting place local to me arranged by them, tyres sent to them, fitted in about 40 mins with all the balancing done as well, they balance ALL FOUR as well not just the front two like some places!

Took GreyRacer's advice, I got the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's and it was £440.00 for all four tyres inc all the fitting and balancing, damm good buy to be honest!

The fitting place in Worthing said they would have charged me nearly DOUBLE that had I walked in off the street and ordered what I had!!

  2. Yup my old 140 got tailgated loads, and ended up with two people in its BOOT because of it, they never learn lol

Have a 106 round from me that I keep seeing, he is up for it all the time, I just give him this little wry smile that sort of says... yeah... come back when your worthy :)

I like just taking it easy to be honest, I know what the car could do im pretty sure now im used to it, but its a lot more fun to let them shoot there wad at a set of lights lol :)

  3. Hiya Guys, and thanks for the replies

ADEX....... I have been offered £350.00 DEFINITE CASH WAITING so far for the wheels, one persons offered £400 if he can get the funds, so your pricing is a little "OFF" mate :)

For everyone that filled the inbox, appreciate all the help and advice regards pricing, I didn't realise these were such a rare item, so I am keeping them and selling the powder coated white ones instead so sorry to all those who offered me a fair price

    Chris :)

  4. Hiya guys

Due to needing to raise some funds I need to sell the 17" GT Wheels (Tech 5s) that came with Brinkz Car I recently brought (Celica Gen 7)

I have had the tyres removed, they were no good anyway (I thought bald tyres were illegal ^_^ ) so I will just be selling the rims themselves, easier to parcel up and pack anyway to be honest, lighter too :)

So, the wheels... a few marks, nothing to bad, a light refurb at most but to be honest I could happily run with them as is, its just a matter of personal taste I suppose, there not mint, but there are a few marks, just being honest

    How much should I ask?

Obviously I need to sell them, If I had a choice I wouldn't lol they are really decent alloys, but I don't unfortunately have a choice..... so I want as much as I can get, but cant afford to be accepting silly amounts

    HELP PLEASE GUYS :)

    Chris

  5. There not orange actually dont know why they show up as orange, there bright RED as it goes lol but these look great!!

Send a message to Fieldy and tell him you want to order the CLIMATE CONTROL LIGHTING KIT with BLUE for the LCD and backlit display, and BRIGHT RED for the function LEDs

    http://www.celica-cl...mMemberID=10498

and he will sort you out

Tell him I sent you I might get a discount next time :)

  6. How did you get the AC blue? Mikey told me to put some kind of film over it when I took it apart, isit that simple?

    What kind of film?

Nonononono not a film, well, you could maybe I dont know??

    BUT

The proper way is to PM Fieldy on here, he supplies the proper bulbs to do it, there only twist fit, and once the unit is out, take 30 secs!

It takes a lot longer to do the RED LEDs that turn on when you push the button, but I managed to do a whole one of these in my lunch hour but it was removed from the car prior to this lol im good, but not that good :)

Also should have said... the bulbs also make all the symbols on the buttons blue as well, which cant be seen in those pics, but at night, its all backlit in blue it looks really good!

  7. LOL I hate to tell you this mate but......................................its not your car anymore! hahaha he's only had it 5 mins and your telling him what to do LOLOLOLOL You need to make a clean break fella!

He only has her best interests at heart, and im happy to ask his advice as well as receive it, were staying mates I hope lol so im not about to rock the boat :)

You seen these on Ebay outta interest?

Will make the modding soooooo much easier! and tidier too!

  8. Now I have a lovely YELLOW 190 T-Sport, its time to plan a few small cosmetic changes in the way of lighting :)

Brinkz.... u might not wanna read this lol.....

Someone posted once im sure a link to the point on the blocks under the carpet on the passenger side that the interior light runs off, so when you open the door, the light comes on?

What to know where this point it, I had it before but its been so long and im getting forgetful now lol

Going to do some puddle lighting, and some footwell lighting, not sure what colour though as the car is YELLOW, the interior is facelift but withe red leather seating and red leather on the doors, and a centre console thats been Yellow wrapped, which I LOVE it looks really good!

Im having some dials done by MOOK, and have Fieldy posting me my kit tomorrow for the Climate Control... done this before on my own so am confident on this one :)

The Dials and the whole lighting effect for the Climate control will be Blue, with RED activation LEDs for the Climate Control, so what do you think for the puddle lights and footwells?

Keep it blue with the other lighting I have planned, or change it?

  9. brinkz had the exact same thing happen to me in October ive not been the same since and i saw her again on saturday at the autosport show (mines still in the club to) watching it drive off was heart breaking. i still have my famous last pic of her on the phone... took him 5 minutes to get it in reverse mind

Brinkz has a last pic of his Son with the Car this morning, his son is fine with it, its Wayne thats having a few probs :(

    You're a lucky c*nt .. this is all :sofa:

    I am indeed :)

  10. Mate did you sort that engine rattle above 3k rpm before she went? & I told you that gasket in a can was good stuff didn't I

    I hate you.... with a passion :)

Have you made it home yet??? You're not on fire at the side of the M1 are you LOL :D

What an F***in journey there and back lol

Decided to try and be a cocky twat, and get the 7:35am from Kings Cross, not the 8:35am my ticket is actually VALID for lol

I left at 5:15 am made good time all the way up.... till about 10 mins outside of Doncaster.......

    "TICKETS PLEASE"

    shite......

"You dont have a valid ticket sir, your an hour too early"

Me replying that it was to make up for the fact that it was bound to be late didnt bode well I have to say.... but fair play to her, she let me say on the train... for what good it did

"May I have your attention please ladies and Gentlemen...... due to the THEFT of Signalling Cable at KIRBY the train will not divert to YORK and terminate"

    Jesus H Christ!

My plan to get there for 10:30am (With good reason as I needed to get back before 5:30pm ideally for the kids!) were up in smoke

Got Wayne to find me a Connection from York to Halifax, where He and my new car duly waited :)

Took me to fill her up, he left a good 1/4 of a tank too bless him!

Back to his house via a nice dual carriageway so I could see first hand LIFT

FUK ME is all I can say on that :greenjumpers:

Did the paperwork, parted with the cash, had a lovely cuppa Tea, and by 12:15pm I was on the way back.... traffic was shit out of Halifax to the M1.... took an hour and a half to get to the M1, quick stop for a call of Nature, then a straight 230 mile drive, even managed to get around the M25 with minimal delay, back home by 5:45 so I was a happy bunny!

Just like to thank Wayne for all his help throughout the sale, its a lovely car mate, can see you've looked after it :)

You will be pleased to know that the Gasket in a can held up all the way home, and if a Black Gen7 owner with the reg Y666 is a Member here, yes, that was ME in the nice shiny Yellow Celica today on the M1 :)

    Chris
