  1. Terraclean it's called.

IMO, it's not needed on an engine that's been well maintained.

    Yep very true,

but for me my motors had 4 previous owners and is now roughly 15 years old, so I don't rly know how well its been looked after, its got full service history but even with that I can only assume its been looked after :S

Guess I can guage it by asking my MOT man to tell me what my Carbon PPM is

It gets a good thumbs up from the jag owners club http://www.jaguarforum.co.uk/f26/terraclean-highly-recommend-49131.html

I might give this a pop when my motors up and running, will report back

  2. I am gonna sound like a suckup now, but I wouldnt give any of my cars to anyone else but Ray and Tarras at RT, the level of dedication and attention they put into their work is incredible, they fixed my celica for me when I stupidly creased up the rear quarter and job was perfect.

As Splinter says, pay cheap you get cheap, we dont want to be seeing any celica on barry boys now do we lol.

  3. 'Chav'

    'Rude Boy'

'You think your one of those 'tokyo drift' guys'

    'My dads cars faster'

'Why do you spend so much money on your car ? you will never get it back'

'Spending money on your car is a waste of money'

'You should sell your car and buy me a wedding ring'

'You love your car more then me'

'Why do you modify your car ? It was built to optimum performance in the factory, so your just ruining it'

'Why do you need more power ? Your never going to use it'

'Why do you keep cleaning your car ? whats the point ? its only going to get dirty again'

The list can really go on lol.

  4. I did the same on my Gen 7 bud and thought it was game over, I couldnt give RT Performance a big enough shout out on this one as they fixed mine and you could never tell it had been scraped. I think you should give them a call! Thats if your around the London way anyway, and if not its certainly worth the drive to know your cars in good hands ;)

  5. had the same dilemma when I sold mine bud so can share the pain! I kept putting it off but eventually just did it and glad I did now! I loved my celica and always will! Just the £ to power ratio was not ideal and felt it was time to move on... I tried the same excuse with the missus but I just got a slap lol.

  6. Take Care of her mate! I shed a manly tear watching her being driven off in but I am so happy she is staying in the club AND gone to a good home!

I will be staying in the club aswell, I tried mingling in other clubs but there is just no club like this one. Ill put a mod thread up on my next car but in the offtopic area I guess and I will still be organising herts meets / tunnel runs too!

  7. Thing is with Body kits mate is its sometimes best to pay someone to put them on, you can end up making your motor look like a polished turd! I would recommend RT performance, they look after us celica club folk and if your mini project went wrong you could end up paying more to have it put right again anyway ;)

On the other hand, if you are insistent on giving it a try, then youtube is your friend, I did some fiberglass work on a couple of bits I have in my garage and they turned out really good, but I did spend many many hours studying and practicing and even then I was not happy with it.

  8. Yeh I know all about the mods not adding to the price bud, if I was to sell it and I got 4500 with the mods on, it would save me the ball ache of taking it all off etc but it wont happen now anyway

Persuaded the missus to let me keep the celica and get a 200sx lol.

My Tsport was my first car, so selling her would be like chopping off a testicle to be honest.

Thanks for all the help guys!

  9. Cheers guys, yeh I expect if I do decided to part with her then I will have to demod and sell on its own.

The reason I am considering it is I want to be 100% sure before I commit to the turbo build I had planned for it, I have asked the missus and my dad to see what they think, but they dont understand either the turbo for the celica or selling it for an older car, which I was suprised about with my Dad considering his history with crazy V8 builds.

So what do my fellow enthusiasts think ? The car I have in question is the Nissan 200SX s14a, A couple of my mates had these a while back and since driving one I have never forgot about it to be honest, my mates was stage 1a, so it had 300BHP at the rear wheel, a ful Apexi exhaust system including decat and mani, coil overs, tracking rods, front mount and so much more, the thing shifted to say the least and it just had so much aggression and feel to it

  10. Hello All,

I never thought this day will come, but I am seriously considering selling my beloved celica on and buying something rear wheel drive and turbo'd, likely be a 200SX.

Anyway the car, Only one owner before me, its a 55 plate, used to belong to the Royal bank of Scotland as a company car, I bought it in 2008/09 from Car Giant with only 29k on the clock, she has now done 67k and has genuine stamps up until 40k, the rest has been done by myself properly following the toyota service guide. The oil has always been kept topped up and changed every 6k miles, sometimes sooner.

The mods I have done are

    Apexi N1 custom exhaust

    Tanabe Strut Brace

    APEX 35 mm lowering springs

    HID conversion

    AEM CAI

    Interior light change to Blue

    Short Shifter

    ACT HDSS stage 1 clutch

Pioneer AVH 3300BT head unit come with 2 x SD cards and SD card reader

    JDM wind deflectors

The car will come also with all original parts + some extras

The reason for selling is that I have reached a dilemma, I have a plan to go turbo with her through SE7EN. but the money spent on a turbo could instead go towards something that is already turbo'd.

Would I be asking too much for £4500 ?

  11. Ahh HIDs, the stupid bulbs everyone should get rid of, I cant stand them, someone driving in the other lane and they blind ya

Just stick some regulars on it

I used to hate this too, but cant beat them, blind the bastards back lol.

They are also great at zapping the people who like using full beams or powerful bulbs in 4x4's *cough* OOPS! *Slips and adjusts the projectors to maximum up pew pew lazerz mode by complete accident*
