thats gonna change though
-
Just to let everyone know im still here, been having mega problems with work recently to the extent where i have jacked it in and thinking about going it alone and working for myself again.
my gen 5 might not need to be sold and my gen 6 will be back on the road for august
fingers crossed of course
this is a public appology to anyone who has been waiting on parts or struggling to get in touch with me
-
must be the same people. dont think its on awishlist and someone trying to steal to order because it would be long gone, its stupid amatures ruining your life, take it in turns to watch the car from somewhere no-one would see you, anyone goes near the car in an attempt to get in, charge out wrap a golf club round their knee. and follow waveys instructions above
-
continentals every day of the week, especially in the wet. the falken mentioned above are good tyres also, but with tyres you get what you pay for
opt cheap and get some black polo mints
pay some cash and get better braking, better cornering and safer driving
-
pretty sure the seats mount the same way in the st205 and st202
-
dont believe shitfit, take it to a real garage and have them check it over
-
only put £30 in no point paying to carry around all that extra weight
-
speak to nokia-aid, he must end up with rolling shells the amount of GT4's he breaks
-
not that mad
im driving a gen 5 on an l plate and bigb1970 is breaking an m plate gen 5 both reg you can get a gen 6, jsut means it was registered late
-
i may have upset him in the past but have left him alone this time
-
tigerseal, unless you ever want the kit back off
-
live and learn mate
-
I was thinking that kind of alarm, cant rememebr what you call it though
-
gutted dawm, poor car doesnt deserve this, its had a hard winter, but a good alarm should sort it, or park on the street, sometimes a quiet courtyard gives a theif enoug privicy and time to rip you off
-
keep the beams - daily driver
put the cs away in storage - properly though, drian fluids, remove batery, leave on axle stands ensure its weather tight and when you are done with the beams jsut move back to the cs, your cs is a one of a kind, doubt there are any others out there that clean and that original, come-on you pestered the guy to sell you it for ages
finally please finally sort the cabs - for some fun and ebarasing the pretenders
-
both gen 6 GT i have had are at 30mpg
what has scared me is my gen 5 GT is 20 mpg something must be seriously wrong
-
considering you can get a mint gt4 for less than a decent 190 i know where my money would be + the gt4 is one of them cars that isnt really gonna loose its value
-
rare colour that one, i think i know the car you bought cause i was watching it, welcome to the gen 6 world, honeslty your gen 7 will become a second car, that is if its not up for sale soon
-
sorry no tips, when i bought my first GT the previous owner had a screw through it - i dont even want to describe why it was there or how it worked, if it was you i would just close it as normal and keep opening the boot to release it untill you get to the bottom of the problem
-
to get at the lever you need to get the drivers seat out, dont be alarmed though its 4 bolts and only takes 15 mins, the lever is mounted under a bit of the floor so you will need to lift the carpet, fingers crossed the cable has just come out, but if you need to change the whole thing its simple enough to do
at least you can get fuel in it just now
-
think white wheels look brilliant all the time, you hsould still buy them and maybe just change the colour if they dont suit
-
sounds like the lever has bust, pull the boot panel and reach under the ariel you will be able to pull the cable by hand and open it,
-
I dont like the gen 7 just want to be clear on that before i comment.
if it was my money i would buy the celica, reason being the extra weight on the fiesta cancels out the extra power, the main swing for me would be that ability to turn corners, the celica is more balances where as the fiesta ST, is a little hatchback and all that weight over the front wheels is goign to make it more difficult to handle in day to day life
-
more electrical problems mate
still here
