  1. good luck budy whatever happens, you wouldn't like my offer anyways if anything it would make you repair the car
  2. seems a good price btu still think its less than its worth, never got to nix as you know so never got to see your guy about that car i will be going down on the 28th so can swing by around then and take some pics for you
  3. glad someone is having luck, i was on shiply recently for a few cars the beams obviously was looking at nearly £400 before the £39.99 fee a gen 5 from fife to me (circa 100miles) was over £250 similarly adex got is ssi form perth in scotland to him in crawley for i think £350 or something is this for the white gen 7 as i have been tempted to make you an offer myself
  4. I have some alu ones and they are fine, for show but i wouldn't drive hard with them and i have some steel tunner nuts like advertised at the top for track days
  5. only thing i would do to it mate is re-spray, other than that its proper mental been in it a few times and the owner always complains there is turbo lag but to me it feels like its on constant boost
  6. I must have missed that due to the price I know someone who might sell and orange GT4 RC running 400bhp and track suspension and big brakes
  7. in our neck of the woods mate i would say rust is the biggest problem, things like HG can be fixed but real bad rust will write it off jdmawd tried ot make 2 185's into a track car and both had rotten sills floors....they looked ok on the outside too
  8. move to asalt free country and take your car with you
  9. I would say look for an unmodified one and get a few insurance quotes, from what i have seen the fuel economy is not much worse than a GT I dont like turbo's.........well my wallet doesn't otherwise i would have a GT4 tomorrow, dont get me wrong i have considered it and nearly bought a few GT4's but i just drive my car again and fall in love with the n/a scream
  10. take your time shifting rev slightly higher than the next gear requires so when you change the car doesn't struggle absolutley no hard driving, thats hoe mine went in no time
  11. I did say when i was in your car that its a really nice example and 2 points to note here I dont like the gen 7 think it looks like a stretched ford ka i dont like red cars I agree though that the other modern coupes dont compare as they look even worse imo 350z is a horrible heavy looking car
  12. yours is a ncie car matey but i would say if you can see yourself getting bored i would move onto something new also fwd cars cannot handle mental power, its more for blagging rights to say your fwd car hs 300bhp - it will torque steer everywhere and you will get no mpg from it (will be mega fun and a laugh though) if you want handling i would go for something 4wd and turbo charged if your just looking for a track blast there are plenty of cheap subaru's around our neck of the woods that you could fling on a track
  13. I should be seeing him next saturday so will ask about progress
  14. drive everywhere and car hasn't let me down, slides a bit in deep snow but down to the width of the tyres 225 45 17 on continental sport contact 2 (run flats)
  15. will be a saturday im heading down as most people seem to be off then, will even bring you a bottle of the ginger necter
  16. should be going to collect the beams from norfolk in about a week or so so may even be able to meet you somewhere down that way if you fancy a drive
  17. would be a fiver + postage probably a couple of quid on top as they are nice and light at least you gave me a chuckle snapping it in the door
  18. I can send you an a pillar trim in a couple of weeks budy
  19. drill them out and fit some allen bolts, cant mind exactly what ones but once they start rounding you have had it
  20. did you manage not to break anything, pretty sure that means erin owes you one
  21. haha i can just get away with that with my skinny womens arms but i would just take the door card of to be honest, takes 10 mins
  22. undo the screw at the front top of the door card, and pull it back a bit or you can remove the windo switch and get some skinny arms in to unplug it
