alway carry a spare as if there is a nail or anything that can cause a puncture I WILL FIND IT!
i my supra i had a spare 20" in the boot and space saver but that was to keep some weight over the rears.
-
How much is he after for it? ( just out of interest)
Oh and yeah I do miss it a lot.
-
The choice is yours, it looks nice and it's not going to be quick but I went from a TT supra to a g7 vvti and don't miss my supra one bit (sniff) even though my g7 has a third of the power (tears stream down face) ........ So what I am trying to say is if you can live with a slow car but a good looking car then do it!

found this in Honest John.
The seat they sell for newborns is the European version of the Britax model, branded Romer. THis fits into the back seat, in the deep bucket, perfectly and is better than the Britax as the model has a slightly smaller back section allowing the seatbelt to fit. We got it checked and approved by Mothercare so its legit!
WE ordered it from the Toyota garage, for a not so bad price of £116 and now means we have a second available car. For those Celica owners reading this you will know they have a massive boot and i can safely say that having this seat and the big boot means this is almost as practical as my Golf!
thanks GR
so its a Britax Romer or Romer (not britax)?
i will have to search the internet as mr T do not do any baby seats now all discontinued (thats 0-8months)
thanks again
-
Sorry to hear that c.a.r
i have phoned toyota, lister, pentagon etc and the only seats they do for the celiac is the 8 months - 12 years forward facing and i will need a newborn rear face.
the hunt continues
-
right guys and gals i cannot get the toyota baby seat as they no longer make them.....
could anyone recommend a new born rear face child seat rather than me trying every seat in mother care? (yes i am a lazy t@at)
I ave just realised this is the worst thread ever lol
-
Nice one I had just looked on there website they said they may have one in stock! Thanks
-
Ffs anyone would think these were not built for family use I will just keep a seat permently in the back then safest place to be.......while looking for a child seat I bought some light brow covers lol Missus will be well chuffed
-
I tried to put my niece in the back and her car seat did not fit properly due to the bucket style so rather play it safe and get a seat specifically made for the car or approved would never forgive my self if anything were to happen and the seat did not fit properly.
-
Thanks guys
Right yeah definitely no isofix thank you for the links
I am on the hunt then for the Toyota child seat ( my local Coventry mr t are useless ) does any body know if they still make them or have a part number?
Also can I turn off the passenger air bags?
-
Mine does too send me pic
I have not planned to go to any yet maybe in the summer what meets are u planning to go to? I normally only do japfest?
-
Yeah I do have you still got it ?
Just had a look on mr t parts not listed specifically for pre face only face lift can't see there being much difference with the seats?
-
Hi,
I have just found out I am going to be a dad and my first thought was .... How the hell am I going to get a child seat in the back of my 2000 g7 ?
Now the wife wants me to get rid and I have promised her a new born child seat will fit?
I have heard romours that Toyota do a seat? Is this true ?
Also does it have iso fix points? ( I do not know what these are tbh)
So anyone have advice on what seat to get for a new born and a picture of a seat fitted may actually save me from buying a ....gulp!.....family car:(
Cheers guys and gals
Oh and happy new year all !
