Get yourself another cuppa. Leave the kettle full as you many want two for this video and some chocolate if you ate all the Christmas cake watching yesterdays video.
This time we have Hot Version 200bhp showdown 3. Cars featured are = Spoon EG6 Civic, Spirits MR-S, Tsuchiya's AE86 and the C - One tuned Gen 7 Celica :D

Machine mart have ones for lowered cars. They are around £100

Yeah it's a pain in the chuff.
I noticed mine is driving a LOT better now that I'm using it on a regular basis. When she used to sit there for a week at a time, it was like the ecu just retired into 140 mode & the low rev hesitation pissed me right off.
Mine does this. I hardly use my car in the week.
Is is best to rest it and drive it hard after the reset to get it going better or does this not make any difference?
-
Do you have a love hate relationship with you car? I do.
Love - the way the driving position is set up. Gen 7
Hate the look of the back of the car from some angles ( sometimes)

Can anyone recommend a decent bodywork repair and touch up in hampshire? Ive tried getting a quote from smart repairs and they are rubbish at hetting back to me so i want to go with someone else. i have a small rust spot on my passenger side wing and two small marks where my apr splitter mounts have hit the front splitter
thanks

Wont they act like a cheese grater that way round and run through pads quicker?
-
Is it just the pure alu ones that crack?
I will be doing track days, these will be ok?
-
Will these forged steel alloy ones shear off too?
Or is it just the pure aluminium ones that are dodgy
-
Hay dude thanks for the advice, i didnt mean it as in "i dont care" i meant i dont care what they are made out of as long as someone can recommend me a good set. I didnt think of steel ones
Thanks rpsmith i will have a look
C
Well you were asking for advice if they were any good, then you say you don't care if they are any good as long as they look nice
AFAIK ali wheel nuts have now been banned form almost all forms of motosport, i know i wouldn't risk holding my wheels on with ali nuts
You can still get nice steel nuts, these are the ones i have got
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2564d79905
And being tuner nuts the colour won't chip off the outside as the removal key fits down the bore of the nut, so they stay looking nice no matter how many times you take them off
they look good
Im after gold though...
-
ok im not bothered what they are made out of just as long as they look good.
Another member said to put copper grease on the nuts every time you take them off so that they dont get stuck and shear off

Yeah long life arnt really interested in your car or what you want. They seem to weld lego pieces together and cut your cat up for somereason to fit stuff. I could be wrong!
-
If you buy a universal exhaust or want an existing exhaust modified where is decent in the south to get this sort of thing done. Ive rulled longlife out as they are not interested (which seems bizzar)

Take the cap off run the engine with the heaters on and massage the pipes

Anyone using Millers Nanodrive?

I have always used Miller CFS on my car and the stuff is great. Car runs so smooth with that stuff and a decent oil filter. (Gen 7 190)
