The mushrooms and lemons are now all in the lemon chicken and egg fried rice that I am cooking tonight, so the was just in the nick of time.

Bill, if I was you I'd have assumed qualification and set a new challenge there and then - that might have got things moving again ...
Having said that, unless banana comes back in the next ten minutes or so with a new one I reckon you should go for it anyway (he's had a couple of days now).
