When i had the gen 6 it came with factory 15 inch alloys. Overall tyre thickness from rim was about 2 1/2 inches maybe more. Grip was better with that set up. My jag comes with 17 inch alloys but there are 16 inch factory ones available with thicker tyres. Would changing make a softer ride? The current set up is terrible for the current road conditions.

If you sign up or create account with euro they will tell you when there discounts are. Nearly every week so far. Works out well when i need to service. I guess amazon is putting the pressure on now. For the first time ever i found 6 pairs of socks cheaper than amazon in primark. £2!!

Toyota should be able to use you chassis number to find the right part. They did with my car but they refused to fit it because they usually don't work on imports

Thought all import ss2's had superstrut?

The one I ordered was a non abs hub/bearing. I mentioned that my car has superstrut and it's a import. Seems to be enough info to give any parts supplier.

Spare key can be cut anywhere, if your looking for a new fob I think you can buy used ones and program them to work on your car

when my Celica was whacked (minimal but expensive) I was offered £1300 for repairs plus £240 for not using a hire car at the other insurers expense or I could have the car written off and receive £1400 plus £240. This was based on a fully stock car with standard alloys. That was a year and a half ago and my car was just under 17 years old then. I got a few quotes before accepting and this was a reasonable amount to agree on. Hopefully this will help you when you deal with the insurance. Are your alloys insured?

I thought newer cars where using red. Stick to using blue for now but i would drain the lot and start using red just as a garantee during the winter period

I was never sure on the difference on thicker tyres being a softer ride. But im going to change to the stock 16's.
