I have Continental Premium Contact 6. They are superb on wet and dry but the road noise is a lot, compared to my previous Linglong Green Max
Not sure whether the size change (from 215/45/17 to 225/40/18 tires) plays any role.

I never share my car, actually nobody else drives my car

2008-now -Toyota Celica (2000) - imported from UK in sorry condition. Now sits in mint condition.

Kev 16v:
Nah, it is not there since i cannot remember for how long. I do have the bracket and the intercooler installed though, these may help

Not sure whether 18x8.5 rims affect road noise, but Continental Premium Comfort 6 are bloody noisy. They are excellent in grip and handling though. Previously I had Linglongs that were soooo lovely quiet for 4 years but i had no confidence testing the rest.

215/45 are perfect for your rims, mine were having the same spec.
Regarding acceleration you won't notice a thing, it is a placebo effect. I moved to 225/40/18 and the acceleration is still there. The only difference is the harsher ride.
Now about the spacers, you won't need any tbh, maybe 5-10mm on the rear, but leaving them as is you ll be more than fine.

Well over 15k with the 6k laying arround. Those will add another 3k on the account when installed.

My prefacelift 140 has one service stamp from Toyota since new!, bought it at 94k miles, now has 125k and it is boosted. Drives like a dream, never had any problems and never lost an oil drop. I generally do regular oil changes and put 10mm extra oil from the max mark like Toyota suggested back in 2005.
Regarding the horror stories, i believe most of the people getting the problems are due to VERY poor maintenance.
If you get a facelift with a service book that it is fully stamped, the chance for things to go wrong is negligible.

I know a lot of people that could do the job, even for free. However it is impossible to get Aluminium T6 pipe on the island.
Since nobody does ali on the site, I have no choice but search the web. Worst case scenario, keep it local and get a polished stainless steel induction pipe instead
Thank you all for your input

Thank you guys for your interest. Before me trying to contact others, I would like to check whether someone from the club could do the job

I never saw them to be honest. Closest I saw was 150/300mm length with breather up to 18mm.

I am not sure whether this is the right place for this topic
Nevertheless, I am looking for someone that could produce a custom induction pipe with the following specs.
Specs:
76mm polished aluminium pipe, 40cm length
Welded-on a 25mm polished aluminium adaptor. The adaptor will be used for recirculation (dump valve)
Here is a diagram:
