Glad I have only put 2 tanks of bp ultimate in the car since I got it then!!
Rest of the 30k has been V power
-
Thanks for the info on bp won't be going there any more!
I thought that bp ultimate was similar in construction to V power with additives added???
-
full to the brim with morrisons unleaded down to 1 bar got 270 miles
full to the brim with v power down to 1 bar got 270 miles.
didnt notice any difference is performance. mixed driving mainly urban and i like to boot it now and then.
How is this even accurate???
How many litres did it take to refill each time????
V power and bp ultimate have more additives in them than tesco momentum.
I will only fill up my car with v-power or bp ultimate
V power is my first choice and the nearest shell station is 12miles away from my house

they are a protective rim you hammer/fit on to your alloys to help stop kirbing
have been a few instances of them coming off and damaging car at speed when not installed correctly

quotes about right
i paid £350 for both bumpers wings and bonnet on audi so the quotes about right
-

Turn the bolt to the left.lol
No matter where you are a thread is round so a standard thread you will always turn it to the left to loosen it.
-
can be tight sometimes but you must have cheap tools i would always use a decent socket rather than a spanner
i always use thread lock on the sump plug when i replace it this ensures no leaks and means you dont have to overtighten it thinking it may leak

said on this very club many times about just how cheap the bosch filters are
bosch make the oem filters for prob 80% of the cars on the road they just have the manufactures stamp on them instead of bosch

I was under the impression that if you run aircon with the windows open it knackers it????
I would always say heat+air con as this is what my car does when i press the windscreen clear button!
-
if you had 205 on a 7.5j rim they were stretched they will fit better on a 7j rim
7.5j rims are suppose to have 225 tyres fitted to them

liam am guessing seen as your car is island green, which is metalic paint, so it wont have laquer it will just have a top coat which is part of the actual paint
i have had the majority of my audi re sprayed and i have loads of swirls all over my new paint it is virtually impossible to wash it without creating swirls you can minimise them for sure but not totally stop them for gods sake my car gets scratched when it rains from the water dragging the grit over the car!
metalic paint is a nightmare for sure!
i feel for you fella
-
You can wash the car as soon as it comes out the bake!
They have already washed it at least twice lol

The HD wax for the price is the best for finish and durability in my opinion and many many other peoples!
-
A glaze is a type of polish
But its a finishing polish so gives you a much deeper wet look to the paint then the sealent and or wax is the protection
-
Be very very careful that you don't burn through the paint
With it!
What colour is your car?
Auto glym HD wax is a very good long lasting wax
But if you wanna do a proper job use a glaze before u wax or glaze, sealent then wax on top
HTH
Oh don't use the sander to apply the wax
-
