the first rule with car security is never leave valuables in the car or on show, dont matter what alarm you have, little fekkers can still break in
-
just put one on the front and one on the back and spin the wheels (slowly) and see if everything is ok

I think they are referred to as tuner nuts
I think they are referred to as tuner nuts, you have an adaptor to take them on and off

I just think a lot of people have to have 'new' its more like a status symbol, "oh look, I have a 13 plate car" yeah ooh ooh look, you are a douche bag.
a few years ago me and the wife thought she was coming into some money (didn't happen ) straight away I was looking at s14's, R32 & 33's, cossies, 190's, supra's, hell even looked at getting an old mk 2 jag ( jaaaaaag ) but I didn't even look at anything new, coz all it would of been was some piddly, common, soulless shitbox, no way pedro

I am thinking of getting some spacers, probs in january due to funds, so do you reckon 25 is too much? I was thinking of 20 for the rear, maybe 10-15 up front
-

what a shame, its crap when you 'have to' sell, not because you want to, that happened with my gen 5 probs about 8 - 9 years ago, and I still regret it after all this time but needs must so good luck with the new car buddy

as ams said, a car of mine failed on brakes, sort of knew the chap and he got some in that afternoon, fitted em next morning and did test again and voila, 12 months ticket

I do get quite a few people say that it's in a good condition, and I like that

you don't have a toolkit until there is a hammer in there

As i dont think i know, and as my internet connection is playing silly buggers, then i am assuming that on a front drive car, it is better to have your grippier tyres on the back? From previous experience understeer is more 'manageable' than the back end kicking out (first time it happened to me was on my s13 when i gunned it to much on a roundabout) am i on the right track dubs?

yep, new challenge

think of it like the early stages of a relationship, a bit of gentle massage is good, but forget about using your stick

the mentioned cars all have a bit of age to em now, so all could have hidden gremlins, but if a cars been well kept and maintained then thats the key, my old bm e30 was an 89 model, but was mint, and lots of history too, there are some good ens out there, but have you got the patience to wait for the right one?

the camel coloured ones are the covers in question, horrible things

I know that there are mid life crisis cars out there, but this is the first end of life crisis car I have seen, I hope it comes with beaded seat covers and doiley's for the rear shelf

there are companies out there that supply and fit security film to your windows, its transparent and boy does it take a hell of a beating, and as many just want what's in your car and not the car itself, it does help stop em taking your stuff, but unfortunately nothing stops em from trying and causing the initial damage, thieving little bastards need a good bummin in prison
