Ray/Taras,
What are the chances of getting an ST185 front bumper splitter made up like the one pictured below?
-
The first one is intended to fit within an a-pillar, so no good. Second one could be just the job. On the plus side, the electric aerial weighs a ton so it'll be handy to get shot of it

Vredestien Ultrac Sessanta;
Toyo Proxes 4;
Neuton NT5000;

The stand was a little confusing as it was a decent chunk plus a small bit the other side of some trees next to the last of the trade stands (SFS), I was parked up at the front in that small bit
-
Hilarious, listing crappy mods like that when you're claiming a 100% increase in power is plain daft. Perhaps his dyno reads in Yen!

Nightmare guys, didn't realise just how out of the way the HJC stand was! And being in the middle of nowhere I don't think anyone managed to get a signal all day, I know I didn't
One of these days I may pull my finger out and actually take out a trade stand
I'm away for a week in a couple of days but feel free to drop me a PM or email and I'll get to it as soon as I can

It's certainly a different idea, bonus points for that. However, I'd be tempted to create the design slightly differently. First off, I'd not follow any of the cars shut lines for the different coloured parts, when you do that it just looks like you're trying to hide an odd bonnet purchased after a prang. It would look better being almost full width of the bonnet by the screen but narrowing at the front and then curving round onto the bumper - that way it'll look so much more 'designed' and not just thrown on.
Actually, that's about it. Perhaps the addition of a few more logos to balance the overall scheme a little better and it's pretty much there. If you post up some pics of the bike I could dabble with an idea for you...

Thanks for the plug chaps
I do the club logos in plain silver external fitment, these are the ones you get in the club membership pack. Custom colours are easy enough to knock together, and I keep a few in stock depending on what's been ordered recently. Can have all sorts of combinations and in both internal or external fitment. As mentioned above, it's best not going too dark if you're putting them on windows as windows do look quite dark most of the time, keeping similar 'shades' together is a good idea aswell so the overall balance is right

Nightmare. Seems this sort of thing is on the rise Hope you get it sorted.
I'd be tempted to park back on the road under a street lamp!

Dorris > Carbon is super stuff. As said, RT Performance do a CS bonnet and light covers for the Gen 5 which I have on Rufus, very nice. I also plan to use some real carbon skinning on the interior, probably the gear gaiter surround and the super live sound system doorcard pockets. Should be good

Not too bad that. If you had a black car it would be relatively easy to replicate so long as you get white doors, fron bumper and rear bumper, everything else can be done with vinyl

izzzzythedog > You've not quite got your terms right in the explaination given. Camber is the one that affects wear on inner/outer edges as per the diagram Slugster posted up. Toe in/out is the angle of the wheel in relation to the front/rear of the car. Caster is the angle of the suspension arm movement in relation to the wheel. Front wheels generally have the top of the suspension mount angled back a little, this is what makes the front wheel go to straight ahead when you let go of the steering wheel - most commonly noticed when you let the wheels come back to centre after a left or right turn.
Basicly a wheel has angles in three dimentions - up/down, left/right, front/rear. Up/down is your camber, left/right is yout toe angle, front/rear is your castor.
The rest of the explaination as to inner tyre wear is pretty much fine, and is one reason why double wishbone suspension is superior as it keeps the same camber angle all the time
Simonwref > If you're short of funds then get the geometry set up first. Stick your fronts on the rear and the rears on the front, then you can even out the wear and replace all four at the same time as mentioned. As sbdags says it's worth rotating fronts/rears on a regular basis to keep wear more even throughout the tyres life, there are some tyres out there now with 'double' wear indicators so you can see when it's best to rotate them
-
All of the above, and pump your tyres up a bit, and remove some weight from the car. The Impreza is probably a fair bit lighter, the things are made from tin

Would have to bank on Toyota reviving the Celica name at some unknown future time

The NGK Iridium plugs are fine, have them in mine. As for leads, the OEM ones from Mr. T are said to be better than the Magnecor ones, so one instance where sticking to OEM is better!

Just going through the pictures from our last Euro trip to the South of France back in September last year. I can't really tell you how difficult going through these has been. Not really had time to think about it until now and it's finally hitting home. The guy really was a legend and in a way a surrogate dad to many of us - I know he inspired me to do the mods I've done on Rufus and I always wanted his 'approval' with any of the mods I did. So much 'The Modfather'.
Anyway, here's the pics -
Enjoying the open roads of France with the top down, I know he always felt free...
A good blast is always good for clearing the cobwebs...
The big smile says it all...
And having a beer with the lads...
Always admiring the views...
And finally the man himself, laid back and enjoying life as always...
Rest in peace mate, gonna miss you big time

Some corkers coming out of the woodwork now, keep it up folks

Right then, here my effort. I nominate Nelson's Column for the next one

I'll try and do the Spinekar tower (seeing as photoshops are not allowed) but the car park is hidden away under Gunwharf so not sure how to get it all in one pic. Leave it with me
ST185 front splitter

Ray > Followed this up on Alltrac.net, it's a completely custom made splitter, it wasn't chopped or developed from anything else
