  2. Thanks for the advice, had a tinkle with the sensor earlier tried half heartedly to remove it and chickened out, is very very tight, and made me nervous of snapping it off, still cant figure out the size of it couldnt find a deep metric socket to fit properly, had to use an old imperial one. Will take your advice and remove the bulb, on a positive note it means ive got a spare bulb now.

  7. Hi all can anyone tell me where abouts the oil pressure switch on the engine is, my son in law says a yellow warning oil light (lower left on the dash) is on constant when the engine is hot in his celica 95 uk model gen6 3sge engine. We havent seen it for ourselves as yet, we hope to tomorrow, would just like to have an idea in advance,
  8. I agree with you regards the breaker bar, i only use it to crack the nut if its to tight (being a feeble lady lol), i only ever nip the drain plug back up with a standard ratchet.
  9. i use a dedicated 6 point socket and my braker bar ( if needed ) and i do this all without the help of a man

  16. Hi guys just wondering if any of you have got experience with these as there is a chance ( due to health issues ) that i may have to sell my celica ( which i dont really want to do ) but i want to stick to the gen6 . firstly i have no idea what the value is of my car any one got a rough idea ? and what sort of cost it is to buy an auto gen6 money is really tight so a swap would be good if the value is about the same . so please can anybody give me any help

  19. Hi again, the issue ive got is that the d/shaft is seized solid in the hub carrier have had to split the shaft behind the hub to change the gaiter, so access to the sensor is going to be a pig, failing this expect a call for another shaft and hub brian thanks amanda
  20. Thanks for replying brian, am i right that i should be able to just pull the sensor out in an ideal world, if i can avoid taking the driveshaft apart again ( ) i will. I still have a sensor in the rear hub i took off and replaced with the one you supplied, and i havnt had a chance to say thanks for all your help with the parts so thankyou. if i can use this sensor i will, all the best amanda
  21. Hi all whilst changing a cv gater for Babymaker tonight have hit a problem unbolted the abs sensor to slide the sensor out and it has split off flush with the hub and now the abs light is on. I assume this shouldnt be in two pieces and its sheared, correct me if im wrong please. If im right has anyone any idea on how to remove the rest of it in the hub other than drilling it out. I have a sensor in a hub i changed on the rear, it looks like it may be the same part, again anyone know for definate please. As usual its always at the wrong time as MOT booked on friday am. Thanks in advance amanda
