I most definatly have to agree with you on this
Shame you crashed into that tree though!

Well I've been here for 2 weeks now and no sign of a single Celica.
Then suddenly last night when we pulled out of a convenience store, a beautiful white ST205 growled past. Managed to follow him for about a kilometre before we turned off. That really made my day. The Celica clings on by the skin of its teeth in its motherland!
Anyway returning home this weekend. It's bloody freezing here and the economy is biting hard. All new cars are eco white and nothing much else to report.
Over and out!

That's great!

Love this day Well done. Credit must go to the owner for taking such good care of her.

I think the chap, Richard crewchief, shut up shop a few years ago.
May I recommend NGK Laser platinum instead? Check out www.tcbparts.com

Ah the veil side weaves its evil spell.

I'm on 184000 which I reckon is pretty good for a GT4 although Nial has me well beat. Still on the original engine and turbo too.

I got 2 keys cut for a fiver

Make sure you check it after blipping the throttle, 30 secs is all you have to top it up
-
You'll have to drill them out and then retap the thread possibly. Shitty job unfortunately.
-
Yes the ST205 was produced until early 1999 I believe. Rare if you can get one. Import only obviously.

Unlucky mate

It says "Toyota Corolla Nagoya"
It's a Toyota dealer from Nagoya City Japan

Hooray! Love success stories like this!

Black for me. Red will just turn pink in the light....

on a track a gt4 is easier to drive and therefore can be driven pretty quickly by most people, an mr2 in the right hands would be quicker than a gt4 imho. its lighter, less transmission loss and better weight distribution.
i was at blyton park with the oc on saturday and there was a stock rev3 turbo barring an exhaust and r888's and it was quite a bit faster round the track then midly modded faff's. with an experianced driver the mr2 is devastatingly quick round a circuit.
Yeah but in those same hands the GT4 would sill be faster

I used to have avid from Japan which tested the ST205 vs MR2 vs Ford Cosworth vs Rx7 vs Supra all stock. The ST205 beat them all over 1/4 mile except the Supra which it easily beat off the line but the Supra just pipped it at the post. In all cases the ST205 was faster off the line due to 4WD and seemed to get through the first 4 gears very quicky pulling away. It was only in 5th against the Supra where it bogged down.
It's been removed from you tube for copyright infringement which is a shame.

Do you have 17 inch rims? I don't see why not. I have 225/45/17 on my 6.

so much win, yet again quick, honest and accurate aid from CCUK
You are welcome.

No - they are like clamps - so you tighten them up and they grip the tail gate. No drilling necessary, allowed or recommended!

10 min job mate. Comes with 2 brackets and 3 bolts each side. You bolt the brackets on first then screw the spoiler across them It'll take you 10 mins. Love mine.
Cursory picture!

If it's in good nick I'd bite his hand off for £40 Daz. These go for nearly £100 often

Try a cheeky £30

It's a very common fault on the gen 6. The level sensor just goes and then the alert plays up. You can buy a new one (expensive) or take the bulb out of the dash (cheap). Either way as long as you check the oil level regularly it won't be an issue.
importing a celica

I imported about 4 or 5 cars from Japan. You'll need to factor in shipping agents, import duty, vat, port handling, mot and and Japaneseside fees as well. All up whatever the car costs you in the Japanese Auction, add another 60-70% on.
