Hey, sorry just seen this, am down in Rushden (bout 10mins from the Pod though, which is nice) every weekend now, only up in Lincoln during the week for work, and come mid December i'll be permanently down in Rushden, so any meet will have to be mid week now for me
-
Nice to see you back Matt! We're you been hiding.
Just having some time off the club, alot of big changes in my life at the moment that need to be concentrated on, only commenting on this thread at the moment after getting a PM, not back full time yet
-
Ah this is about half hour from St Austell
-
Its Tregye Cottage near the Tregye Truro College Campus
-
i can give you a day shot if you want.
found another night shot, i like this one.
and a day one
I thought it looked the nuts with the carbon bonnet though, or be it this one was a bit dusty
Might as well add a recent picture of the same car, here it was about a month ago in Cornwall whilst I was on holiday, she isn't clean but couldn't keep her clean due to the road we had to drive on to get to the cottage
Only changes since Sadle sold it to me are custom VVTLi badge on rear, Tsunami Headlights, obv no carbon bonnet anymore and custom white and yellow owners stickers
-
Original stickers go on the outside then each time you wash the car you pull a bit off.
Got two sets of outside stickers on my rear windows (CCUK and Se7en ones) and never have a problem with them peeling off after washing, even with a pressure washer
-
The ST215, you also have the ST246 also called the GT-Four and uses the 4th Gen 3sgte engine and was the last car to carry the GT-Four moniker
-
One thing to remember about RWYB days is that your reaction time isnt taken into effect, so unless your really bothered about beating the person next to you, dont worry about setting off as soon as the green light is on, just concentrate on your launch and get a good time instead of worrying about the person in the other lane. My best times on the strip when I had the GT-Four were either on my own or being up against a vastly more powerful car than me (in this case it was a 600bhp R33)

My own fault really for not doing my research properly when buying but hey, i lost leather seats for imitation leather at the back, and t,sport logos on the front leather but i gained a sunroof,
would love a VVTL-I badge, with the L in red, looks real nice, but real hard to get hold of, tried Ebay but all that is on there is the VVTI badges,
Toyota never made these which is a shame, but keep searching, they can be found if you look long and hard enough, also check for not just Celica, but Corolla as well

I wont be at the Parson Drove meet as am currently off down to Ace that weekend, will be in Wisbech this Sat at the moment
-
Fensport are selling the GT4X! for £45k apparently for a new project (i'm guessing GT86 based)
-
Having said that though I've still not managed to spot you in over a year!
Yep can be very stealthy in a bright Yellow car lol I am around, Sonic has spotted me, although that was over a year ago he last saw me and was in the GT-Four
-
-
Keep an eye out for me as well, not unknown for me to be in the Wisbech area as well (parents live there)
-
I need to find a OBD2 reader that works with my ECU first, the one that everyone raves about didn't work for me
-
Video of it

Talking about my GT-Four here, Purposely taking it sideways on base here, on normal roads take corners normally, so no sidewaysAWD - Now I understand why. U shouldn't be going side-ways, unless your speed does not match your road condition Are all Gen7 AWD? ah, just noticed your's a JDM - any diff to UK Spec?
Correction, I still have the GT-Four just cant use it on the road but possibly slowly stripping her out for track use for me and the lassNo, monkey matt had a Gen 6 GT4 (also know as a Faff) before his Gen 7, all GT4's are AWD, there was never a Gen 7 with AWD unfortunately -
Nah going round corners a little bit sideways (never did get the hang of doughnuts) also suprising people at where they saw the faff and the suprising looks after they ask how the hell i got it there (Cheviot Mountain range few years back, owner of a Land Rover), or why I have no worries stopping to help push someone out, when I tell them its AWD
-
Love snow regardless true it was more fun in the GT-Four, but snow wont stop me taking the 7 out, just have to be a bit more careful
-
None of the others here are owned by any enthuiasts so is a waste of time flyering for me, lol but we have several 7's, and a 5
-
Are a few celica's on my base as well, and 2 in my section!............although they are both owned by me, lol
-
Its also not that accurate, try searching for a Levin, and wont recognise the car
-
Believe despite the wide choice we have, I think alot of us would still rather be able to have one of the earlier gens, I myself would love to have a RA28 GT!

Yanks say it that well as well, was talking one a US Marine guy a couple of years back whilst on exercise over there, and got onto the subject of cars/petrol etc, and told what I had (at the time the GT-Four) so even after explaining what the Celica GT-Four was, and that the Yanks had the ST185 version but called it All-trac instead, explaining fully where it sits in the Toyota Line-up, he still had no idea what car I was on about.......... until I realised in my head that the US pronounce it wrong, said Celica in the other form, and he knew instantly what car I had!!!
