No probs, currently have RS3's on mine after Falken stopped producing 452s, cant fault them so far, although being Asym they do look odd
-
Have no problems with mine, choice is starting to dwindle though, but never had a problem getting them
-
If the challenge is still running in a few weeks, might be able to complete this, does depend on the traffic in Cornwall though!
-
Next challenge is...
Your Celica with a power plant / chemical plant / oil refinery in the background.
Dammit, not due to go out to any of our sites soon or could of had a photo of mine with 20 power plants in the same photo! Lol
-
Does indeed.
Mine won't be that cheap but will allow use of the wide range of apps available for OBD2, some of which do far more than the above.
it's still nice to see people prepared to provide support for our ageing vehicles, anything less than 15 years old has OBD2 as standard.
Will be curious about this, as import 7's are not OBD2 either, would love to have OBD2 apps working in the 7

thats the one i've just put on mine after giving her an oil change, although paid the £8.ish price, should of waited a week! lol

Well have decided to go for RS3's not like going asymetrical, but it looks like thats what i'm going to have to go for, so got 4 new tyres on their way. Cheers for the advice peeps

Hmmm considering Rainsport 2's, seem to have good reviews, although looks like they have been replaced by rainsport 3's which again are asymmetrical, same way Falken have gone. Hmmm fingers crossed the garage has found some 452's, will be ringing me today at somepoint

Right just back from the garage, had car booked in for full balancing of tyres and re-alignment, as with the amount of pot holes in Northants at the moment, whilst I endeavour to avoid them all, there have been a couple of times that I have accidentally hit one so wanted to get everything checked out again before summer, and the possibility of a bit spirited driving again.
So they started taking the wheels off for the balance, and noticed that on the inside of one of the fronts, a slight bulge has appeared so whilst it hasn't burst yet, and causing a problem, it does need replacing. However Falken have taken the decision to discontinue the 452, a tyre I love, had them on the ST200 Mondeo, the GT-Four and now the SSII, rate them over every other tyre I've had fitted. The reason? Euro Tyre noise rules, apparently directional tyres are too noisy for Euro Regs, and so manufacturers are switching to Asymmetrical patterns now. The garage is ringing round on Monday to try and find a set for me, whilst i'm looking for a possibly alternative
So looking for an alternative now anyone got any suggestions? Not a fan of the Toyo's BTW, the wear rate I found was horrendous!

Its a kit i've always wanted, found a few for sale in the US, its just the cost of importing it over that has stopped me having it so far
-
Should just get rid of them, stop hiding the yellowly goodness!

All my money currently goes into just living, and trying to keep the car on the road, the stresses of a track are a bit of a stretch too far at the moment
-
Wish I had the money to take part

Dammit, should of spotted this beforehand, we have a certain quite huge celebrity that we deliver too, could of asked if he didn't mind it, although that would mean getting the Celica to work beforehand (see other thread) as dont think the work van (Merc Sprinter) would be allowed to win this thread, lol
-
sounds good to me
-
Easy way to check, take a photo of yours Darren, and compare it to the one on the SS2, if its the same, its Macpherson, if its different its SS

Our old next door neighbours kid used to do that all the time to mine, he even started calling it his car! lol
-
Trying to get my GF to photograph the Celica between 2 top flight racehorses, so might have a winner for this next week if It is still going, but only might
-
Well whilst I do have a full size piano, 2 problems, 1 Its down in Cornwall at the moment, and 2 like hell am i going to try and fit it in the celica!
-
You still wanting me to go view the 4 Darren? lol or just start the hunt for a 6?
-
So....... i'm one of the few who think its horrid? lol oh well I'm used to thinking certain cars should never see the roads due to how ugly they are, despite popular opinion (like the Nissan GTR and Bugatti Veyron, honestly how anyone likes them is beyond me!)
-
And apparently always on the stands, now I know I've not been to many shows with the club, but surely I think I would know this car.......

Use rainX when I clean the car, but also have the RainX screenwash additive as well, although am having a problem at the moment with the wipers smearing the water on the screen more than clearing it
