Make and Model plus size of Tyre: Pirelli P zero Asim- 205/45/17
Celica owned: Gen 7 190
Type of driving: Motorway and City
Type of driver: calm mainly, but moments madness.
Miles covered so far and wear rate: Roughly 15000 miles wear rate is very good, but is uneven.
Dry use: grip is very good in the dry, very impressed.
Wet use: Shocking, makes the car very nervous around bends, and forever wheel spinning.
Snow / Ice use: Damn right dangerous, I almost wet myself
Noise: Very noise, especially during long motorway trips, wish I could put some ear plugs in.
Overall opinion / comments / strengths / weaknesses: Depends what you are after, I wouldn't buy them again. The positives are they are great in the dry, and wear very well. However, wear is uneven and because of that my car handles worse than my wife's corolla. It makes the car pull to one side and lots of vibration from the steering wheel. It's terrible in the wet and snow making you very nervous in bends. I can't wait for them to wear out so I can change them to F1's or Proxies
Price paid and from where: £105 Protyre Bristol
Rating out of 10: 4-5 - would prefer better wet performance and less road noise.
