I know of a white gen 5 which is owned by a famous bass guitar player who is currently touring.

The ecu is located at low leve behind the heater controls and can be accessed via the passenger footwell, lift the carpet up on the console side near the firewall and you should see the wiring.

Well it is common knowledege that I don't like Toyota Dealers, as they couldnt even time cams correclty and up blowing my engine.
-
On the right car they would look good. IMHO a Gen 5 Celica is not the right the car though.
-
well done mate, I have have a pop down the shop later and pick up a copy.
-
Toyota always set up the ecu's to overfuel. As the opposite is very bad for the lifespan of the engine.
-
you said before you got the v6 though?!
Sorry I should of said by before i got my V6 engine.
-
nope mine was not an ST(V6 ST202 in my model under my avatar sort of gives that away lol), yes it did rev quicker.
-
I had a Fidanza flywheel in mine before i got the V6. One of the best mods I ever did made the car feel loads different.

You need to find and insurer who can 'mirror' the NCB over to the second car..
Do you have any recommendations.

It hasn't been done yet but it should be possible to put a V6 in the gen 7, if you are thinking of this go for the 2gr-fe engine not the 1mz.
-
I'm not sure if it is a previous members car, but i quite like it none the less.

I can't for the life of me figure why there is a vac hose connected to the bonnet!
-

You need to do this.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal
2. Turn key in ignition to acc 3 position i.e so dash would light up if battery was connected
3. Wait till at least 30 seconds has elapsed since disconnecting the battery then reconnect the negative terminal.
4. Once reconnected press and hold both alarm buttons till the indicators flash.
