Kin Ell....not sure I would be as chilled as you...in fact I know I wouldn't. easy for us lot to say what we would do..you need to do what's best for you mate.life is sort do you need this shit ????
-
I love my Toyotas but you have to respect the guy who designed the fiesta chassis...chased a little zetec down but the little shit kicked my arse an a double roundabout and after that we hit traffic so game over...was biting the wheel
-
Seems we are cash cows to be drained of as much money as possible...is there a better way??
don't see many on here writing their cars off...thinks give me £400 a year regardless of mods
top value at £3000 get 20 cars so that's £8000 as long as only two cars 10% are total scrap £125 each
I'm £2250 up on the year..happy days
if only..there's more to it that that but you get the idea

Perhaps not the best thread to out yourself on?

Got a phone call yesterday from my broker telling me that my insurance is due next month and would I like to renew it...this being the end of my second year with these guys last lear was almost the same as the year before £355 fully comp.so I says yes but how much is it? "well sir it's gone up"..."you may have read about in the paper"..."all these false claims.blah blah"
so tell me how much then....£575!!!!!now this shit happened when I was with the post office..two good years them blam... so gets on the web.....£315 with Esure fully comp if I had said yes renew it they would have stiched me for £260 seems if you are new you get a better deal...the brokers use big firms (lots of banks) to underwrite the policy they are the guys who say how much for the risk of covering you(that price is not for discounting) then the broker adds his bit to it to it..he has no risk he just fills in some forms and thank you very much...so is this a regular scam trying to stich me evry two years or is it just that the banks need to make more money somehow...or it could all be in my own tiny mind...in any case still £260 better off

fook off my starter motors got more power than that , mines got a gadzillion trillion bazillion and 2 bhp , its 19 wheel drive and has vvti and v-tec and warp drive , i even had the star ship enterprise away from the lights and that wasnt giving it death , if i use more than 200 rpm in first my eyes bounce off the back of my skull , well thats what my mate said and hes got a scooby and everyfin
you using the TRD warp core with HKS flux capacitor then ??????

if you must run Nos use a direct port wet system with controler you will aslo need to have a piggyback AFIC
like AEM fic to control the timing (needs retarding when on shot) you will need colder plugs. if you can get that lot you'll be good for 100 shot...you can go cheap with just one nozzle before the TB but you get uneven hit on all pots you'll get a lot of det and in the end a melted engine..hope that helps

What type of pipe bender is it? I bought a cheap one off fleabay to make the roll cage for my tractor, and let me tell you it was hard work! Admittedly it was 48mm pipe with 3mm wall, but was very easy to kink if you weren't concentrating.
Got a plasma cutter too and must say it a cracking bit of kit so easy to use!
Always fancied a tig welder did some back in college makes such a nice job, will be interested to see how you get on. Sadly gas is dear stuff for what id do with one I dont think I could justify it plus its just as easy to use the MIG at work
nice work there...fill the pipes with water then sand..goes in real tight and you can bend no problem...i use a MIG with CO2 and it does the job
but CO2/Argon mix is better
-
fook me argon is expensive...you have to rent the bottle £90 a year and pay £70 for the gas...but it is a big bottle and will last me ages...picked it up today
-
as for interior being crap gen 7 is pretty shabby to say the least! so i would say that the fiesta is on a par interior wise if not slightly better
the gen 7 GT is nice inside...makes the fester look shite...never been in any other gen 7...fester is a cheap car built cheaply
-
once raced one of them and the little fook beat me on two roundabouts....good chassis..like a go kart
-
what is the diameter of the mid pipe on a standard gen 6 gt face lift model.
any help would be great guys as having a little trouble fitting my back box
is it not 2 inch ??
-
sounds like a cheap bit of kit
yes a bargain..to cheap to miss
make me a roll cage!if I do one for me then yes I can do others....be nice in stainless
Could well be up for a system with duplex, what sort of money will you be looking at?early days yet ,I have a few things I want to do myself but in the future I could well be up for knocking out sone stainless headers and exhausts.
but in the meantime I'll price the tubing up
-
I need to take you out in mine when it's finished circa 400 though the front wheels...torque steer to the max
-
welcome to the club....you crazie fook
-
just spent £500 on some kit....a hydraulic pipe bender (up to 3'') and a plasma cutter/tig welder...can now do my own exhausts and intercooler bends..thinking may offers cheap deals to members

Many many years ago I worked for a company that sold an hydrolic version of this..it needed about 5" to get it under....they also did one that rolled the car on it's side
