All passed beam pattern must have been spot on, couldn't be happier!
-
Yeah I know, read that part, quoted and they said it will fail end of, no point in arguing when another garage are happy to pass it.
-
I phoned F1 autocentres today to ask if it would pass MOT, they said no unless you have headlight washers fitted as standard, if not it will fail. I then phoned a local garage who are really good, ford enthusiasts who have a passion for cars and they said it would only fail if the kit is of a cheap quality and the light pattern is not correct, otherwise it will pass.
Needless to say booked in with them for this Thursday!
-
My MOT is coming up in October I wonder if it will pass!
-
Well mine is still going strong dude

Awesome, looks like I will be getting this one, the only other alternative is the Arcan one, but on ebay its £130 and I don't have a costco card (if they still do them at £80)

Rather than starting a new topic, I thought I would drag this up from the dead!
I need a jack that can get under the front of my gen7 with prefacelift upgraded lip (forget what its called!) and jack the bugger up!
The best one I can see so far from this thread is the one Hou has (page2) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Liftmaster-Low-Profile-Aluminium-LED-Racing-Trolley-Jack-1-5-Ton-GS-CE-/251067683698?pt=UK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment&hash=item3a74ccd372
It seems to be a quick lift low profile with a light and good quality.
It's my birthday coming up and I need to ask my Mrs share the wealth!
Will the one above do the job?
-
5000k are awesome did you blank off the ufo holes?

I dont think the TRD sounds boomy at all! it sounds more raspy and not too different to stock on tick over, but it all depends on what camera is recording it as that can change the sound immensely.
You could try a Blitz Nur spec, but not sure what you are after really.
-
think this'll work?
I reckon that will be ok if the inner diameter of your exhaust matches up with this
-
Bit skeptical but that report does seem a fair test, would like to have been there to see the results!
-
I must admit, I have had 2 bulbs fail on me, but customer services at HID direct has been pretty good on replacing them, I just had to cut the wires take a pic and email it to them for a replacement
-
I bought canbus for the promises of better quality, I am pleased with the units they work great, but other people say the cheaper units work just as well!
-
Planning to do mine in a brushed aluminium
I have been looking at that aswell, the 3m version, can't decide between that or the darker version
-
I like that, looks nice, might give this a go, really would like to transform into facelift interior though!
-
Does he have any carbon?
Light grey and yellow, check it out.

Ive heard the hexis stuff is much easier to wrap with. The real stuff costs around 30+ for the centre console.
Yeah I did see that's what Rpsmith79 was using, was going to buy some off him, but didn't have colours that interested me.
-
I'm glad you've posted about this mate. Will be attempting this myself soon!
Excellent, let us know your results, l think it's a fantastic way of tidying up interior parts, mine are worn in places and they could really do with cheering up.
Has anyone tried doing the whole dash?
-
heatgun is a good investment for this
Already got one, seen some vids on youtube, looks like it's just to wrap the vinyl round the edges?
-
I got mine from ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1439.l2649 excellent stuff well worth the money.
Yeah I saw that stuff, just wasn't sure about delivery from poland, is there no duty to pay?
-
Funnily enough I did have a look at your mod thread earlier and saw it, she has done a good job, that's want I want too, a normal colour that isn't too out there, nice and subtle.
Where did you buy your wrap, ebay?
-
Who has attempted this and is it hard to do, I would be a complete novice to it.
Can you recommend any good materials, I want to make sure that if I mess up it can be removed with no mess, which I think is the case with vinyl wrap?
I usually use 3M materials, so I wouldn't buy cheap crap
-
Hi, I see the rear valance is £110, how much extra would it be to have you paint it in thunder grey?
-
I've had 5000K since before i had my celica
Yes i can confirm that @ 35w the 5000K HID's will be white white NOT blue white or yellow white
Unsure about sellers as mine are all pretty old now but i can say mine all came from deepest darkest China and have been perfect in operation for 40 months+
And yes you'll need the holders regardless of where you get bulbs from.
Excellent thanks for that keef-b!
