  1. I would buy Ferodo and do them yourself.
  2. I have the bluetooth obd and android phone running torque, works great!
  3. Sorted the ABS flashing, think I didn't plug in the adaptor properly! (facepalm) all working ok, will get a HD up of it working with my phone soon!
  4. Couldn't agree with you more and I always usually spend that little bit more, to get something better. In this case, I was under the impression the software on my phone would do the most work, as the adaptor is just an interface? I could be wrong.
  5. Got my OBD adaptor FINALLY! only took 2 delivery attempts and 2 months ish! Anyway, used the app today and works perfectly! Scans your codes if you have any, mine was clean of course! The displays are great, all very functional, got things like voltage, 0-60 times, mpg etc... havent had a drive with it yet as I was a bit concerned that when the OBD adaptor was plugged in the abs light kept flashing on the dash, is this supposed to happen (does this happen with every obd scanner?)
  6. Unfortunately not, the OBD adaptor never arrived so I have requested a re-order from hong kong, but it's going to take 2-3 weeks again! Will update as soon as I get it.
  7. I don't hate the Iphone, but I think the majority of people that get one have no idea of the other market of phones out there and have no idea really what benefits the phone has, it's become a status symbol and fashionable. But android is much cheaper and will become more advanced eventually, it's already started to happen.
  8. The one I bought was this Ebay... I have no experience with whether it works, I am waiting on the OBD bluetooth transmitter to be delivered so I can test it, the interface is pretty good in terms of what it lets you read, which is pretty much everything!!! Check this out, dash mounted dell streak (not that I endorse that phone) Dell Streak
  9. Just purchased 'Torque' from the android market and bought a bluetooth OBD II adaptor from Hong Kong for £18 on ebay. This app scans fault codes, gives you descriptions and clears the codes. It also gives you live engine data, quarter mile times, 0-60 times, fuel pressure, coolant temp, rpm, speed and tons more! The app was £3, but you can get a free version, so in all I spent £21 on an obd scanner than can do alot more then most budget ones!!! Will report back when I have tested the app...
