The Tot Posted March 14, 2014 Report Share Posted March 14, 2014 Used UPOL primer (acid etch) on the alloys and they turned out great! Remove your nozzles and leave in white spirit or petrol to unclog when not in use. I prefer plastikote over halfords. Their nozzles are a lot finer and have a broader mist. Warm water or hair drier does the trick. Saying that, when I did my winter wheels, I started getting mad crazing on the final layer when I left it a week (and it was about 5°C cooler) and sprayed.
