Adex
I'm thinking use the same method you use to reset the engine ECU. Try resetting the SRS ECU by removing your airbag fuse(s) for 10-15 minutes. Not to familiar with g7's so can't tell you if it's marked airbag or SRS etc. Worth a go, especially as it's free! Top tip - Don't sit there impatiently watching it, go & do something else. You can't leave it too long, but you can put it back in too early making you think it didn't work. If that doesn't work, try doing it with the EFI fuse.
Mondo
Is the airbag not a dealer job...? Back when I had a Calibra, it was Vauxhall's job to reset any airbag lights.....
