yep had ns2 on all 4 corners, they are not that great in the wet and i don't drive fast so couldn't test teh limit with these in wet. wet launch is ok and didnt wheel spin during lift. but i would still say below par thou. Somehow they managed to get me thru (just about) heavy snow last year when most cars got stuck. in dry they are lovely thou, hardly any wheel spin even during launch. But i would still pay a bit extra to get ze912/914 or uniroyal rainsport 2. Tires lasts me 2 years or so and the extra amount of money spent to get some decent tires in exchange for more safety is worth every penny imo.

when pulling out the dipstick, i suggest look at the other side of it, usually gives better indication on oil level.

yep... done my own service aswell.. £30 spark plugs, £10 toyota filter, £20 engine oil, filter wrench £5, £35 k&n filter... and 45mins of time. much prefer servicing my own car,, know i will do a proper job, the only annoying thing is that the underpanel is pretty difficult to take off (the previous owner uses screws but without the plastic cap on so the screws were rusted). and engine oil leaked all over the floor.. missus weren't too happy with that...
the only thing i would recommend getting dealer to do is the aircon in this current weather.!

another way to remove rust on brake disc effectively is to use "electrolysis". i have started to use this method to remove most rusty components such as brake disc and calipers, bolts etc.. use before painting over.
