Adjusting the clutch pedal height and free play

Pedal height

The height of the pedal from the floor (not the carpet) should be 141 to 151mm.

To adjust:- Loosen the lock nut and turn the stopper bolt until the height is correct. Tighten the lock nut.


Free play

Push in on the pedal until the beginning of clutch resistance is felt. Pedal free play should be 5.0 to 15.0mm.

If the pedal is disconnected you check the rod itself. Push in on the rod until resistance is met, rod free play should be 1.0 to 5.0mm.

To adjust:- Loosen the lock nut and turn the push rod until the free play is correct. Tighten the lock nut.
