Guide to hardwiring Sat Nav G7

I did mine today so I took some pics (please note I am not an electrician, this is only to show what I did)

Firstly I bought this adapter from Halfords, It cost £2.50

Next, remove gear surround from Celica and disconnect positive wire

I then attached a spade crimp to the negative wire and a round crimp to the positive wire

Remove the nut on the back of the cigarette housing, attach the positive wire and replace nut

Slide spade connector over existing negative connection

Replace positive connector from step 2 and cover new connections with electrical tape

Attach Sat Nav power cable to adapter and tape together with electrical tape and re-attach gear surround

Now thread the power cable through fuse box

Then pull on panel below steering column and undo 2 bolts at bottom to release it, and thread cable through here

Remove plastic `A pillar` cover and push cable up in to the gap

Replace `A pillar` cover

Job done
