The car was yellow when i got it 

Then a mate of mine, whose dad owned a body shop , resprayed  it blue over a couple of weekends

Just joined the club and figured I'd say hi here, I've seen this group in the Goodwood show and appreciated the display there.

Well done on signing up for full membership 

 

I think we met at the Classic JapFest at Goodwood last Autumn. We did have a good turnout for that, and we have another stand there for this year. The show will take place over two days this time, with track available on the Sat, Sunday just club displays as last year. Add your name to the list 

Do take a look at all the upcoming meets this year - all listed and explained in the Meetings forum. You don't have to have a perfect car to be on the club stand - most of us have a few dings, scratches etc!!

Being super shiney is not a requirement to be on a club stand, or even the same colour all over. People make a club not cars.

Celicas like yours are a rarity,you should absolutely feel comfortable bringing it along to a meet or show.This is a proper club,on a proper forum,no petty social media style judgement going on in here  .I've been here since 2009,I've never heard anyone at any gathering of ours voice an opinion that any car 'shouldn't' be in the group because they're not good enough.First meet I got my car to it had no front splitter,rusty arches and a grey front wing  I didnt care an neither did anyone else,was just glad it made it

Thank you all for the kind words! In that case Ill have a look at the events and try attend one or two  

 

I ran out of reactions but I've had a look at afew of the groups car and they all looking stunning 

 

It should be a factory colour since it was a limited edition in Japan. Has 4WS which is super weird around roundabouts 😄

I had a JDM Gen5 GT-R for a short while,with TEMS suspension and 4WS.Reversing from an angle and down my drive was better with the 4WS in the locked position,first few times I was oversteering and wasn't exactly going in a dead straight line once on the drive with the 4WS on  .It is odd.

You had the turning circle of a London taxi though!
