225 wide tyres on 7j rim?

Hey all, I got the stock 17 inch rims on my gen7 they have a 7j width.

Currently running 215 wide tyres and looking for new tyres and found that 225/45/r17 are a lot cheaper than 215/45/r17.

 

Anyone running 225s on 7j rim and have issues or will there be trouble?

i had aftermarket alloys and i had 225 45 17   the alloys was 7j i didnt have any problem had them on for few years.

Cool, could be worse the vdub crew get 175 on a 8j rim

I've run 225 on 7j before, I am not hurtling around tracks so they have been fine!
