snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 Hi I am in contact with a manufacturer of wheels , specifically 17" , for Gen 7 Celica. Can someone please give me the complete specification for them to be fitted without modification. The wheels I will initially import will be chrome finish. Thanks John.
Old Red Celica Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 You could have the offsets changed so you can fit without using spacers, if that's your thing.
snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Author Report Posted 12 September 2025 Yes I would like the wheels to be fitted without spacers. I am a bit naive, the spec they have given me is:- 17x10.5j ET10 PCD5-100/114.3 CB73.1 Would this be suitable?
Jim881 Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 (edited) You will need 5x100 bit the offset os your choice really, as red said. Specs of my JRs running extended studs and 10mm spacers on the rear. Diameter: 17" Width: 7.5" PCD: 5 x 100/114.3 Offset / ET: 35 Centre Bore: 73.10mm Can be run without spacers though. Old Red Celica Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 I thought CB was 54.1mm, 5x100 PCD, ET is 38mm as standard
snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Author Report Posted 12 September 2025 Thanks Jim881 and Old Red Celica. Very helpful information.
Old Red Celica Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 You may wish to compare tyre sizes. http://www.tyresave....k/tyresiz2.html So you can work out the most cost effective tyre size.
ams Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 73,1 is a standard aftermarket centre bore that you can get spigot rings down to 54.1 for., 10.5 is a very wide wheel 1
snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Author Report Posted 12 September 2025 Thanks for your comments.Would 10.5 fit ok ?

snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Author Report Posted 12 September 2025 Thanks. I will have to rethink!!!
Old Red Celica Posted 12 September 2025 Report Posted 12 September 2025 I would question why you feel the need to go so wide.
snsb Posted 12 September 2025 Author Report Posted 12 September 2025 Yes I totally agree. On reflection I am revising my thoughts drastically going down to 7.5.

slybunda Posted 17 September 2025 Report Posted 17 September 2025 7.5j would work well with 225 tyres which I find to be cheaper than 215

snsb Posted 25 September 2025 Author Report Posted 25 September 2025 Thanks Digs Appreciate your advice, will have a detailed look later. John.
Old Red Celica Posted 25 September 2025 Report Posted 25 September 2025 At one point I was running 235/40-16 tyres on my SR Momo rims, with only a little bit of rubbing af full lock, when loaded up.
