I have been trying to get in touch with TCB over the last few days to order some brake parts but phone not getting picked up. Does anyone know if there is a problem, should I just keep trying, who would you recommend as an alternative.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks, would be great if you could let me know what was on Facebook.

I need front and rear pads for my 1994 gen6 st202, plus a trim clip for rear boot panel,  sump plug gasket and oil filter.

..."providing a basic online shop"...

Well, that's long overdue. It was so much quicker to order from eBay and others, I just didn't bother with TCB.

He does have an eBay store, but not a lot there currently.

A shame as it's much harder to get quick confirmation of what's available and prices and also advice on what parts are suitable.

I can understand ditching a landline - I did this with my business when I started working from home more. As always, business customers get hammered on price, it was costimg me near £1K / year for phone and basic broadband when I was hardly there. On the other hand, mobile costs are tiny so it wouldn't hurt to go that route and be able to take calls anywhere as if you were at work (as I do).

A few weeks ago i emailed TCB for some brake discs and pads

I got an email back with prices , i emailed back and said i would call them that day and pay with card over the phone

I called for three consecutive days no answer , i left a message on the answer phone but did not get a reply

I didnt even get a reply to the second email i sent

In the end i sourced them from elsewhere

Happy to confirm that Paul has responded to my email request for parts.

I have asked him to proceed with the order and await his confirmation.

Further to my last post, I’ve not heard anything from Paul to confirm that he is progressing with my order confirmation sent by email so I’ve sent him an email to cancel it. Required parts have been ordered from Fensport who seem to have everything in stock.

it is very concerning that we seem to be losing what used to be a very reliable service from him. I wondered if anyone local to him could throw some light on his situation.

That's a shame. I was about to order some stuff where TCB was much cheaper than gt4 play, maybe I'll just get the lot from there now.

For me, receiving parcels is tricky as I need to stay in for them, therefore need good comms on when to expect delivery, at least to the nearest day.
