Old Red Celica Posted 18 January 2025 Report Posted 18 January 2025 Glad it's back home. Hopefully with enough DNA/finger prints to secure a conviction.

I only use Facebook a little bit. I want to track down a car I owned for 40 years.... then sold it then really regretted it. The guy I sold it to sold it on and and hasn't been helpful. It's listed as SORN. I've posted pictures on the Owners Club Facebook page but no response. Whereabouts on isnta and X would you place a post looking for a particular car? Thanks B

Thanks B Stolen cars are publicised on platforms like Twitter/Facebook etc to make them too hot to handle and get more eyes out there looking for a particular car. As for a car that has been lost for 40 years, you need to use a similar process, but use owners clubs etc. You can continue trying on Facebook owners groups, with pictures of the car in question.
slybunda Posted 21 January 2025 Report Posted 21 January 2025 I don't use insta and x but those are big like tiktok but if you got photos of it can post on insta and tag car groups
Sherv Posted 21 January 2025 Report Posted 21 January 2025 That's some good news for once.I hope it was returned in the condition it was before the scumbags got it,looks a nice example 1
CheltGirl Posted 21 January 2025 Report Posted 21 January 2025 Hi Wee Red, I hope you are well - nice to see you posting! Really encouraging to hear that the car has been recovered. Keep us posted as to whether they are able to secure a conviction.
slybunda Posted 28 January 2025 Report Posted 28 January 2025 How did it get stolen? No alarm or immobilizer on it?
