_Chris_ Posted 15 April 2024 Report Posted 15 April 2024 Posted in General chat as it's more likely to be seen. I'm away in North Wales for the rest of the week after the Celica event over the weekend. I hit a big pothole yesterday which has buckled a wheel badly. The only spare I have is the standard skinny tyre which is a different diameter to the others by quite a bit. The size currently on is 215/40 - 17 so looking for a pair with similar diameter or a whole set. If anyone in the area has any wheels to sell or lend please drop me a PM.
Old Red Celica Posted 15 April 2024 Report Posted 15 April 2024 celicagen6parts might have a used one. Call - 07969018590.

meirion Posted 18 April 2024 Report Posted 18 April 2024 I hope you have managed to get yourself sorted?
CheltGirl Posted 18 April 2024 Report Posted 18 April 2024 Hopefully Chris will get round to posting a photo of his wheel on here - horrendous!!
_Chris_ Posted 18 April 2024 Author Report Posted 18 April 2024 It's a bit straighter now after a few blows with a big hammer. Will be driving home on it tomorrow. Did quite a big tour yesterday down to Macinlyth via the nice road by Corris, up to Betws-y-coed where there loads of police chasing someone on foot, 2 attempts at the B road where the pothole was. First time it was closed, second time it's been resurfaced and the pothole filled in. At least the council acted quickly. Ran fine apart from being a bit bumpy between 40 and 50 like an unbalanced wheel. B4391
Old Red Celica Posted 18 April 2024 Report Posted 18 April 2024 That looks saveable, bit of heat and rollers.
_Chris_ Posted 18 April 2024 Author Report Posted 18 April 2024 The tarmac or the wheel ? I'll keep the wheels to use on autotests until the tyres are worn out. The shame is that those wheels really suited Ezzy. I have a similar set but silve currently on my SS1. I'll probably get them refurbed and painted white as replacements. They are 16" so will be a bit less likely to sustain such damage as the tyres are higher profile.
