Blaine
Hey boys and girls Bought some earth cables for the battery last year and am going to fit 1 later Is it the same principle as grounding other things? 1 end negative other end unpainted metal? Also. Isit worth it? Sent from my SM-A500FU using Tapatalk
ams
Wiring on the Celica is very good - if it was a french or VAG car then id say it's worth it.

slybunda
have to agree with ams here, iv upgraded the earth cables and its made no difference on the celica, on my fiesta however it was a night and day difference. best thing to do is just clean up the earth contacts, I sanded away to bare metal and then attached the earth cable and covered the area in grease. planc
A mate put a grounding kit on his Civic Type R and it made the car idle better and improve drivability in town. I bought one for my Celica 3-4 years ago...... And it is still in the Jiffy Bag under the drivers seat.
matt1
It can't hurt to clean up the standard earth points. Mine, especially the one under the battery tray, were quite corroded.
