celica-190
Rear left tire showing uneven tire wear on the inside but the wear is uneven around the circumference. Any ideas as to the cause. Obviously camber causing inside wear but not sure why the wear is uneven.
rich_p
As you say obviously excess negative camber causing inside wear. Are you lowered at all? Uneven wear could possibly indicate a buckled wheel, do you suffer vibration at speed or under braking? First thing I'd have done is a decent 4 wheel alignment, and go from there. GreyRacer
What make of tyre is it?
daytona
Eagles David. Bald Eagles. Uneven wear can be due to incorrect inflation, camber/alignment or even duff brakes/shocks. Get it on a proper laser 4 wheel allignment system for a kick off. Find a garage that uses a Hunter system or equivalent. http://www.pro-align.co.uk/?gclid=Cj0KEQjwkv-rBRDwoMLav-2l9KIBEiQAUTkDU0aiY_1n17Ij0n_Gii8pNYqKKzbtMnp3pCSv9AeVZN4aAlc78P8HAQ Edited June 17, 2015 by daytona
ams
Every gen7 I have seen does it - you need to leave the tyres on the back for around 15-20,000 miles to see it
daytona
True and given the wear to both there is probably only 1mm in it. Rotation after about 8k on new ones then and a proper alignment check if you haven't had one done before anyway.

Guest Ambermile
idk but, for me, 30psi is a bit low - I'd be maybe 35 front 33 rear.
