PistonHeads Shed of the Week: Toyota Celica

Recommended Posts

Editorial seems very fair. None of the NA's are that quick.

The T Sports scamper to 60 in low 7s is reasonable for an 1800 (Oh how I wish for those extra cc's!)

But they, all generations) are what they are. Inexpensive Jap 2+2s coupes with marmite styling.

I like Marmite :D

all true, for the gen 6. its a cheap car at the moment and will go forever.

4's and 5's have gone up in price now and good ones are in the £1000 or more bracket were as the 6's there are still a few about and are worth nothing really (give it a few years more and they will go up, but not yet).

so for sub £1000 its a hard car to beat. :)

A fair enough view I reckon...although I have a gen 7, I've always liked the styling of the Gen 6...if I could have found one that ticked ALL my boxes when I was in the market, then who knows..I may well have bought it.!

..and like Steve pointed out, where do you go for good club advice...here of course.Even Pistonheads know this ;)

here's the imported gen4,not the one you guys would be used to seeing.....its the one with the booty back end,and the slightly asthmatic engine.Remember this being up for sale,we dont miss a lot us gen4 types
