RuAmJe Posted January 27, 2015 Report Share Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) When I start the car up and switch the lights on they are pretty bright but then I here a relay or something click and the lights dim slightly, when I rev the engine they stay the same and brightness doesn't increase but when I switch the heated window on the revs rise a bit I don't think it is the alternator. david924s Posted January 28, 2015 Report Share Posted January 28, 2015 Mine do exactly the same when I first switch them on they are bright then after a few seconds with no change in engine speed, revs or anything else they dim slightly as you mention almost like a load resistor has operated.
