Who is the average Celica Owner?

38 and work for the Navy (Civvy) as an Occupational Toxicologist. The SS3 is loud, thrown about the corners when safe to do so and occasionally tracked for giggles. I have been told that maybe I should maybe think about getting a 'sensible' car......................... bollocks to that! Plus how many fun cars can you fit all your tools and an engine hoist into the boot?

Round here, the gen 7s are mostly driven by ladies and every gen 6 I've seen is driven by men. There's only one gen 5 left locally (that I've seen), a GT4 driven by a chap in his 20s.

I'm 19 [emoji1]

Bought my T-Sport when I was 17. Bought it at 69k miles and she's now on 88k. She was a Thunder grey with 18" black Calibre II rims, Pioneer hands-free head unit, privacy glass all round. The going price was £3,500 and I did straight swap for my 20071.5 Suzuki Swift haha! And it gets even better, because my insurance was only slightly more than the Swift! I have no idea how or why, but it was! So I could just about afford it at the time. Drove it back 45 miles from the garage in London I bought it from, in heavy snow, 3 degrees outside, and with the biggest smile on my face!

I've been brought up with Jap cars as my cousin runs an independent garage who mostly works with Jap cars and used to take me out in his custom built, old school Civics, Glanzas, Supras etc.

I now own a vinyl wrapping company which I've been doing for the last 12 months, and I'm a freelance music & sound technician for a couple of dance/theatre schools.

Oh, and having the Celica and being the only guy amongst 250 female dancers has been quite helpful [emoji6]

The Celica will be the most memorable car I'll ever own, for a number of reasons!!

24, and plumber and I just love cars. Had a couple German whips (gold vr6 was fun) and my car before the celica was a Peugeot...ugh....but it was the 406 V6, I liked them for the looks and the engine was great, just the electrics were terrible and I didn't understand why such a big car was fwd.

Got the celica and never looked back its head and shoulders above them all.

im a lucky boy to have her at my age already  . I change oil every 7000 miles along with filter and everything else is every 10,000 miles. Im hoping thats regular enough as running her isn't very wallet friendly for me just now :laugh2:

Must easily be our youngest member then as far as I am aware!!

Im a very lucky boy and i fund the whole thing my self. Went on a drive 2 weeks ago with some members from around my way and they were pretty surprised at my age for owning a T-sport as well

I'm 27, like Ger mentioned in his comment, I never drink or have been drunk, I don't take drugs and night clubs are not my thing.

I'm a keen MTB rider and snowboarder.

I have had my T Sport for just under 2 years having been a massive Honda fanboy all my life it was quite a step to switch to Toyota but I'm loving it so far.

I am OCD with cleanliness and I feel the condition of my car reflects my personality in that respect.

I work in organic food and have done for nearly 10 years, just trying to work out how to get into a decent line of work, an actual career :).

I'm a 28 years old Hungarian guy, working as a delivery driver and lives in Scotland since 3 years now. This is my second Celica (used to have a black 140) and love them to bits, always been love with cars especially jap ones, my father still owns a 22 years old Daihatsu Charade but still goes strong haha. Never had any car maintenance experience before but with all the info and help from here I find myself being more confident in it with a Celica. CCUK is the first enthusiast club I joined and I'm so glad I did it. Have met a few fellow petrol heads from up here and really feels like I'm a part of a big family. :)

Guess I'll chime in

29 telephony engineer.

2nd celica bought the faff after my 140 was written off.

The faff is now a second car and commuting car is a 1.9 Audi a3 diesel, at 750 miles to the tank it does just fine.

Interesting!! I am 23 and female and currently working as a beauty consultant in retail. Ive not always been into cars I think I was a bit slow, but got there eventually!! First car was a rover 25 didnt have it long only had 28k miles on it and some lorry wrote it off sigh, went through that stage where I thought I was 'cool' and bought a 53 plate 1.2 clio with the insurance money.. Even though what I really wanted was this monogram MG ZR I had seen at the garage near me but hadnt enough cash.. Had nothing but bad luck with the clio got rid of it after 3 months got a bit more than I paid for it went and bought the ZR (1.4) and well, it went from there really I learnt so much about cars/modding etc .. I think now if it looks sporty and I like the look of it and its quick for what it is (the ZR was pretty quick for a 1.4..) I am attracted to it, I saw the celica on google actually and thought right I think thats my next car tbh! I wanted the 190 for obvious reasons lol. Starting to wish Id studied mechanics now rather than beauty! But I guess I can say I put all that beauty knowledge to good use lol
