Crazy Cat Lady Posted 26 May 2021 Report Posted 26 May 2021 Mission accomplished: Replace front and rear discs, pads, slider-pins, rubbers, clips. Fabulous transition, the steering wheel judder and shakes have gone, like driving a brand new car 2
Freeman558 Posted 13 June 2021 Report Posted 13 June 2021 (edited) Fitted, new MAF Sensor on Thursday evening which, thankfully, resolved my bogging down issue. Managed to get a genuine, new Denso for £50. Fitted stock airbox (with Butterfly valve) made up the missing part with some tube and t-pieces I ordered. Still had the 1 way valve on the car. I have no idea if it actually goes better, I didn't really notice much if any drop off with my Blitz Carbon WAI and what I think might be an improvement might just be down to perception from driving with a faulty MAF sensor for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Waiting on new another stock air box to arrive, which will hopefully join some of the engine plastics on a trip to BRD for some hydro dipping. Then, get rid of my tatty old, 3m Psychedelic, wrap for some more refrained. I'm thinking Lemon Sting Or Sunflower yellow Assuming this contract lasts... Edited 13 June 2021 by Freeman558
TriumphGuy Posted 12 April 2023 Report Posted 12 April 2023 (edited) Holy thread revival: Today I changed the rear wiper blade on my Gen 5. I can confirm that these are 20" blades. There's some conflicting info "out there". The old one was also 20". Edited 12 April 2023 by TriumphGuy

Crazy Cat Lady Posted 27 February 2024 Report Posted 27 February 2024 Play spot the difference! Purchased new backplates, drum brake blocks and new springs set, and new wheel bearings over two years ago so about time i had them fitted! On the way home the cabin noise is noticeably quieter, wasn't sure if new bearings would improve this and it has, not hugely but definitely noticeable 2
Jessica Posted 9 April 2024 Report Posted 9 April 2024 My Gen6 SR is going for her MOT today after being off road for 13 years (yes, 13 - not a typo). Hubby has spent the last year or so (not continuously) getting her back in shape and ready. Hopefully soon be back on the road 1
