Sherv
With any luck hoping to take off the PAS pump on the ol' gen4 this weekend, obviously will have to refill the system once new pipes fitted etc.Just wondered how much the average system usually needs.I know the reservoirs only small but obviously by the time its all bled through with a few lock-to-locks ,i assume a reasonable amounts required.I've got 2litres of the stuff,is that plenty d'you reckon..? Adex
We did Jan's gen5 with a litre the other day, so you should have lots spare. Incidentally, I've always been taught not to go fully lock to lock as it can trap any air bubbles where there can't be bled out. Hope that helps. Adex
Too true, you should never be without cable ties in ANY situation! What happens if you haven't & then you suddenly need to take a hostage or two? Then you'll be like "Ade was right, dammit, why didn't I listen to him"!
