  1. eBay - Bonnet Vent Scoop. Quite expensive for a small piece of plastic!
  2. Move along, nothing to read here...

  3. These work great for me and it fits my bike filter as well.
  4. Another method that works sometimes is forcing an old allen/hex key into the hole and undoing it. Not the best way to treat a new allen key set, but if you have a cheap set of keys and aren't worried about mistreating them, then it's worth trying.
  5. Dipped?... Surely they mean wrapped. Must have been a huge tank they used to dip the car.
  6. I think water has found its way between the friction material and backing plate and over a number of years it has been quietly corroding. Now you need some new rear discs because those look like they have worn below their service limit.
  7. The sidewall of the tyre will be taller which you might not like the look of. Use this visual calculator to see the difference. http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html#tyresizecalculator
  8. That's too cheap. A decent wrap will be near £1000 if you want it to last. It's a pity you're too far from Northampton, my brother would have been happy to give you a quote.
  9. As usual, you get what you pay for. It's possible to get vinyl that is guaranteed for five years against peeling, cracking, fading etc, but not everyone is willing to pay the extra. Some vinyl is only intended to be used on temporary signs and short term advertising such as you'll see on taxi's and buses. It's another case of "buyer beware".
  10. There will always be pampered, well looked after examples of any car. The trick is to be patient and wait for them to come onto the market and then act quickly before someone else gets them. It took me just over a year to find a virtually rust free Gen'5 and lots of disappointing journeys back and forth, but I finally found one for a great price. The best of luck with your search.
  11. 'jasonskyring' should be able to answer that question. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/133778-what-came-in-the-post-today/page-73#entry1884471
  12. Mann Filter W68/3. Blue Anodised Magnetic Sump Plug. Filter x 3 - £3.34 - Total: £10.02 http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/ Sump plug (M12 x 1.25) - £3.99 eBay (Tokyo Squad)
  13. After watching this fiter review I'm a little concerned. Take a close look at the three Toyota filters that have the same part number, but vary greatly in their build quality.
  14. You could also consider buying one of those Snap-Off steering wheel kits.
  15. VentureShield is another company that does paint protection.
  16. Have a look at any markings (text) that are printed on the inside of the plastics. You might see PP which means it's Polypropylene, then you can Google the best way to fix it. Here is a PDF file to help you. http://www.urethanesupply.com/_pdf/thebook.pdf
  17. All ready to fix the leaking cam cover gasket. eBay (gadgetgiftshop) - £2.95 - 85g tube.
  18. DIY may be? Turtle Wax Car Scratch Repair Kit You'll need to use that kit with a touch-up colour.
  19. Nipple covers x 5. £2.04 from eBay inc' postage. Bought these for my brake caliper bleed nipples.
  20. Just stumbled upon this online version of the popular EPC that some of you already have installed on your computer. Just type in your VIN number and you will be rewarded with parts diagrams and part numbers for your celica. http://japan-parts.eu/
  21. Don't forget to add the VAT and Royal Mail £8.00 processing fee to your calculations or those cheaper stateside goods could end up being more expensive than buying them here in the UK.
  22. It's possible to completely strip and rebuild toyota locks/barrels, I did it to mine. Just make sure the pins go back in the same order they were in.
  23. Paintshield or Venture Shield is probably the best option.
  24. That's a shame, there doesn't seem to be any info' for pre' 1994 celica's. http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Toyota/
