  1. Looks good! But you know you can get red primer right? [emoji14] Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  2. You're an absolute star mate! This is why I joined this community, people are so friendly and always help each other out in one way or another [emoji106] I'll PM you my number now Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  3. Well I went out last night and had a fast drive for a bit, lift seemed to respond a bit bitter, but that may have been a placebo because I was excited to drive it [emoji23] Are you sure mate? That would be awesome! If so, I'll happily cover postage costs, or I could pick it up if you're not too far away. Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk Thanks for the advice mate, I'll definitely keep that in mind! But hopefully we'll have some nice weather for a while! [emoji14] Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  4. I know what you mean actually! To help a bit more cold air get to the filter, last night I installed an air duct from the front bumper to just underneath the filter. Not sure how effective it will be, but dedinitely can't hurt [emoji16] Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  5. It certainly does! [emoji106] I went a step further and made a custom aluminium cover to tidy it up even more. Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  6. Technically not on my Celica (yet), but I've been sanding down my authentic TRD bumper in an effort to make me save some money to get it painted along with my JDM wings. Also got some goodies to fit to it when it's all done, some absolutely immaculate TRD yellowy-purpley fogs, JDM indicators and a nice (fake) carbon fiber number plate bracket. Can't wait for this all to be painted and fitted!! Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk
  7. Hold up.... You need headlight washer jets to pass an MOT if you have HIDs fitted? I've got the factory spec HID headlights fitted to mine but never knew I would need washers to pass. Got my MOT in a couple of months, so I may swap them out just before if I do need them. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  8. And this is how to get dents out of your roof.... [emoji23] Heated it up with a heat gun and it expands out to the right shape, but when it cools the dent comes back. So I've used a scissor jack, a piece of wood and a microfiber cloth (to spread the load) to keep the roof in under pressure while it cools and hopefully that will get rid of the dent! I will report back with my results in a while! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah, I heard the food was expensive and not that great unfortunately. I bought my own because bi know how expensive big shows can be sometimes. No problems mate, I'd rather someone get some use out of them because they were just doing nothing in a drawer in my shed! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  10. Was at japshow yesterday. Got myself some new wheel nuts and carbon fiber vinyl wrap while I was there and also fitted and calibrated my modded gauge cluster, it's got painted internals and the blue LED mod (not that you can see the blue LEDs through the orange numbers [emoji22]). 11. Awesome! How long did it take you to do the whole bonnet? I was actually quite surprised with how well I managed to wrap it if I'm honest, took about 20 mins and the vinyl I used wasn't even the stuff with the air release channels and it came out damn near perfect on the first try! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  12. Last minute mod before Japfest! Wanted to get the scoop painted before Japfest but don't have enough time so a quick vinyl wrap job later and it looks pretty damn decent! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  13. New tyres fitted today, well overdue as the old ones were getting down to the legal limit and I could definitely feel it when taking corners quite fast. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  14. Going to be doing mine on Saturday in preparation for Silverstone, I dread to think what I'm going to get off of my paint!! Out of interest, roughly how long did it take you to do the whole car? Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  15. What my manager doesn't know won't hurt him And that is a good idea, might see if I can borrow one from someone because I don't really want to buy one for just this job :/ Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  16. I'm off work ill, but didn't want to waste the day feeling sorry for myself in bed or on the sofa.... So I'm prepping my JDM wings to save some money when I take them to get sprayed [emoji16] next job is the yellow JDM TRD front bumper and then the JDM rear bumper and valance. Any tips on how to do it faster than by hand would be greatly appreciated! My dad's multitool with sanding pad is rubbish! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  17. Spent a good 2 hours removing the 12 sticky pads behind the number plate from one of the previous owners. The annoying this is that they weren't even holding the plate on and there are holes drilled in the boot [emoji30] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  18. Wasn't today, but thought I'd add it in anyway [emoji14] Got hold of the lotus performance coil cover, it cleans up the look of the engine bay so much! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  19. Yepp, my doors were frozen shut too. The ice that formed on the door looked pretty awesome though! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  20. I know right, But that's not all! Got a brand new set of MeisterR coilovers for £400, OEM JDM rear bumper with valance for £30, Toyota wind deflectors for £25, OEM JDM wings for a tenner each, TRD wing for £90. Pretty much I just hunt for bargains every day [emoji23] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  21. Fitted my OEM HID headlights that I picked up for £80, a few small scuffs on them, but only really noticeable if you're up close. Also test fitted the OEM TRD front bumper (paid £60 for it!) with the OEM fog lights (paid £10 for them), Can't wait to get it sprayed and fitted properly. Also finished up the button panel that will control the lighting in several areas of the car. Very productive weekend I think Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
