  1. Bollocks!!! I hard wired the camera to the fag lighter and it burnt out the camera!!! You probably need to include the resistors and PCB in the plug to stop that
  2. 2005 Gen-7 I now have a dash-cam It will be positioned behind the rear view mirror. Is there a way I can provide power to it without cables across the dash and up the screen? I was thinking of splicing off the fag lighter wiring and some way running the cam power cable to just behind the mirror but keeping it hidden. Is this possible and how would I go about this as I do not want to be pulling the trim apart to much or getting close to the air bag. The other thought was to splice the cam power cable in to the sunroof power feed, I assume this is easily accessible by simple removing the cabin light. I would then simply pit a small hole in the roof lining to feed the cable through. Can this be done? Tiddles.
  3. If or when you do find the rubber foot I would be happy to buy them off you.
  4. Is it possible to fit roof bars to a Gen 7? If so what are the ones to get, Looking at transporting a couple of 11 foot Kayaks.

  6. As i am mostly doing A road and motorway driving in my 2005 Gen 7. I was wondering if it is possible to fit a cruse control to the car?
  7. I did get it back. Advertised the engine but no takers. So stripped what I could and had it taken for scrap with the engine.

  16. The car is a 02 Gen 7 but I had a 06 engine with only 25k on it put in to it. Before the accident the car was immaculate inside and out with a full service history from new and I am only the second owner.
  17. Can an insurance company force me to accept the wright off valuation of my car? They have made an insulting offer and I am disputing it.
  18. Yes. I insured it with a value of £2000.
  19. Car is a CAT B. They offered me £1285 but I told them I want close to £200 due to the rebuilt low mileage engine and the immaculate condition of the car plus the full service history.
  20. It is. Would the Celica survive the 1000 per month and the day made up of short journeys?
  21. We do not get paid from the commute to and from the office. I live 10 miles from the office but someone living 4 miles from the office gets mileage after 8 miles. I am looking at a late 2004+ 140.
  22. In my new role as a NHS community support worker I will be using my car to do my rounds. On average I will be doing about 70 to 80 miles a day visiting about 10 patients. I will be getting mileage at 45p per mile after the first 20 miles. Is the Celica a suitable car for this job?
  23. That is my plan. Should get a few hundred for the 2006 engine. My only problem is storage and removing of parts. I live in flats with a communal car park.
  24. They want to get it into there possession first.
