Hello, been on for a while but the old girl has ticked over nicely so advice not required as much as i thought!! I do have a question for you and hoping you may be able to help, i have an old red celica too, had her for 7 years and is a late ST182 August 1993 in red. The hoses are getting very tired now and perishing is visible, can you or anyone else advise how i could get a new set of silicone hoses for her, who makes them and supplies a kit for an ST182? Have Googled and not had a lot of luck sadly. Please advise, be good to have a bit more knowledge and keep the beautiful Ruby running sweet..

Morning all, back again...

Ruby is still running well, have spent more on her this year than the previous 6 though!! I have an oil leak i think, when i work the engine up hill, am getting a burning smell and looks to be drops of oil/fuel when reversing into parking space in the rain?... (Have had the engine cleaned and a new rocker cover gasket fitted... Not solved...) Finally, the rubber hoses mainly for the radiator etc are starting to look tired and perished, am finding it tough to find either a donor car with healthy hoses or a supplier of such goods, or kits?... Any advice on any or all of these issues would be greatly appreciated..

I take Ruby up to the Classic Motor Hub at Bibury in the Cotswolds every now and again, we did a car treasure hunt with lots of other beauties, Bugatti's, Maserati's, Ferrari's, Lancia's etc and got some pics on there of Ruby with the headlights in full flip up mode... If your bored, take a look and maybe see you there..

Hello all,

             Went to register today and just forgot that i had done this already over 4 years ago! Thank you for being here. My 26 year and 11 day old Celica is running well but looking a little tired. Want to sort a few bits, (although the paint is now going pink on the roof, bonnet etc) am looking for a rear window wiper blade, it is built a little differently as some of you may know, and 2 fog lights for the front too. Will be looking to get the alloys re-done soon too. Any advice as to where to ask? Is there a one stop shop for 1993 Gen 5 bits for sale? Ebay scrap cars are my only option but mighty expensive.. Many thanks for reading and a big thank you if you reply.
