I've had similar experiences. First I was told the 140 and 190/TS/GT had the same engine and the only difference was ECU tuning and body styling. When I told them I had a TRD Sports-M they told me such thing doesn't exist, then I pointed outside and they soon learnt a bit.

Maybe experiment with moulding a lip onto the gt4 bumper?

Bad times, my Gen 6 was keyed on every panel apart from the roof years ago. Eventually found out who the culprit was. Didn't get any £ back but stamping on his head made me feel a lil better. It's cowards who do this sort of thing. Hope it's sorted soon for ya bud.

I have one too and had no probs with MOT and have known of people getting them posted to them too. I had my car searched last year and the copper asked me what it was, I told him its a flare that comes with Jap imports and he just put it back there without question...

:rolleyes: It's worth much more than yours rob! Ok so the guy took it as p/x and was spun a yarn by the previous owner which he took as gospel and now has prob realised his error. Hardly warrants some of the stuff above does it. Now what if someone purchased the car and came on here? Would we kindly inform him about what his car is or rip the piss and say its worth £250?? You are right, this guy has gone a bit far tho, I have tried callin him to express an 'interest' I used to refer to my TRD kitted 190 as a TRD-190 Celica for the same reasons as you but got too much stick for it from my mates so to shut em up u went and bought a real one lol.

Ok so he has described the car as a TRD version which is a fail but overall the car ain't too bad. Just ANOTHER TSport made to look like a GT. Also isn't the only one to claim he has a TRD t-Sport lol there's a few on this club too! Oops!!

That's a UK T-Sport with 90% of the full TRD Action Package kit that includes that bonnet spoiler and the arch flares. Nothing apart from that and the eBay TRD badge... Also all Gen7's are built in Susono, Shizuoka, Japan not sure where you got Mexico from! ;-) EDIT to add, it's got a Sports-M scoop too and a closer look at the fitment and lines of the bodykit makes me think it may be genuine! You never know, it could have had all the optional extras from new! Must have cost a bomb!! love the roof spoiler too!! Guy is def on drugs tho judging by the description!

I've been told that the paint can crack but as long as you use a bit of heat then it should be fine. Thanks guys, is doesn't damage the paint at all does it? I think I'm gona contact Arch enemy, £90 seems reasonable for them coming to me. ;-)
