  1. Use Shell regular in my 140 and won't put anything else in it. Runs beautifully on it. Tried other petrols and mine doesn't like them as much as Shell regular. UK spec gen 7s are set up to run of 95-ron anyway.

    Rubber care spray arrived today.

Will be a while before i get around to trying it out on the Celica's rubber bits, wot with the lockdown, and the weather raining buckets.

Meanwhile the bathroom duck has confiscated it for the duration

    So it's a robber-duck?

    I'll see myself out.

  3. Yeah mine has plenty of stone chips on it too. A place not too far from me makes a perfect match 1E7 silver spray can, so may be able to touch up the worst of it. I need to to take my TRD side skirts off to check under the sill covers for rust. We used white silicone sealant to put those on... Not looking forward to trying to take them off :brickwall:

I don’t use mine anymore really but I gave i treated it to a polish! The front end is ruined with stone chips and scratched from the C-one lip that once lived on it.

Yikes... I need to to take the Greddy lip off mine as it has a big crack in it from a parking accident (my fault). Bet mine will have a scratch the same after I remove it.

  5. May be taking my Celica off the road over winter. Plan is to put it in the garage and place it on some wheel cradles to prevent tyre flat spots. Besides disconnecting the battery, is there anything else to consider? It should be off the road no more than five months at the most. I know some people do an oil change before storing their car away, and also brim the tank.

  6. I changed both of mine 3-4 years ago and was a doddle to get the bulb in for me. Then again I have smallish hands! :gay: Getting the cast which holds the bulb in place back in is the tricky part.
