  1. Amongst my collection of Celica literature, I have an eight page A4 size brochure on the Celica and MR2 "Red" editions from March 2004, and a 12 page version covering the Celica "Red" and "Blue", plus MR2 "Red" and "Chrome", from September 2004.

    Scan and share :)

That spotless Red Edition picture on the link is still 'on the road' with Tax & MOT passed last August with 75k on the clock

I wonder who the owner is now (?)

That’s amazing ! Imagine owning this exact car ! Surly has to have been a club member at some point ?

My red is clean don’t get me wrong, barley a scratch on it, but the drivers seat is a bit tired. Looking at these pics is kind of depressing

Yeah I found that website about the Red Collection when I was looking to buy mine.
I wish I had found a site that told me how much a spare master key with a transponder chip was going to cost me [emoji33]..........oh well beans on toast for the next two months [emoji20]

I have a different issue, my spare master key is all working but the end plastic is split so if I used it to turn her over it would likely snap. I have seen a newer style flip key fob blanc on fleabay, I’m tempted to transplant the current transponder and get the blade cut somewhere

  2. Hi, this may be in the wrong place to post, but in searching the bowels of the internet on things celica relatedI came across this link, got some nice pics you can download too...

thought I'd share... depressing that my "Red" wont ever be this spotless!

surprised this page is still up to be honest !

  3. I was going to plasti dip my whole car, ended up just doing the bonnet and nose cone.... I'm still undecided if I like it....but it's been a fair few months now and has held up well to the elements, washing and general use....

  4. Seat slung back, Bling hanging off of each arm, baseball cap - on backwards, end each sentence with "innit bruv" and get to Colne... you'll be sorted :D

Dunno though - she was quite a classy burd! really well dressed, tanned, no visible tattoos, lazy eyes and/or webbed feet, she had a rather sexy looking summer dress on and really white teeth. Kinda girl I bet when she farts it smells like Chanel!

    ...and she was called Bridgett!

:worthless: haha next time, get a selfie !

stuck in traffic last week, stuffy hot windows down some kid shouts to his mum from the back seat of their 7 seat fertility van "look mum, that man has a Ferrari" hahaha ill take that. the mummy was quite yummy too, and considering by this point she probably thought i was minted...... But i couldn't even consider dating anyone with a child with such little automotive knowledge :)

    funny though

  5. To be fair this is an interesting read..... I was tempted by Plasti dip, and the doing the whole car. I have dipped my bonnet, which for me was a double edged sword, i liked the idea of a matte effect bonnet, and also it would cover up the fact that some k^&b keyed it.

The plasti dip has held up to now, but i would honestly say that if this service was available in surrey, at this price id take a punt and do the whole car. 400 quid, is good value even if you get 2 - 5 years out of it....

But i do like the fact that if i change my mind with plasti / rubber dip it can just be taken off...

But this Mod lark is all about personal preference and how deep pockets you have.... id love to shell out £1500 - 2k for a full respray.... but then thats the value of the car.

  8. Yep dubs I think you are right, Ultimately I need a few bits for it, new bonnet and passenger door as someone had dented it (previous owner) and respray or vynal wrap.

Generally the car body work is "ok" I bought based on the fact it had had a recent engine transplant but the body needs a tidy when money allows... Getting it keyed is the final straw now though. I'll see if I can get a touch up pen on it for now.

Any ideas where to get these parts without paying moon money?

It's storm blue (210) I think ! Are you both heading to Portsdown tomorrow ?

  9. Mine's an absolute pussy magnet...... next doors cat sat on the roof & gave itself a full body wash last night. Fluffy ginger b*stard  Where's that pellet gun.....

Hahahha I can relate, I just went out to the car to grab some pressies that were still in the boot and the big fat ginger tom from next door was asleep on the bonnet. Ha well not any more

  10. I've got a few scratches from doors and stones, only a couple of chips on the front wing. Can anyone recommend any good products like chippex or t-cut? I scraped the wing mirror on the garage wall last night and i'm not sure how to go about re painting it especially with that part being plastic. Also to make things trickier it's storm blue. Any advice guys?

same problem !!! i got a ready mix touch up pen from mr.T in 210 carbon / storm blue..... tried it on an inconspicuous area and the colour match was terrible !
