  3. It could be a very good photoshop? The rear brakes look quite large for a celica to me!
  4. They don't look too different from the mclaren 12c wheels
  5. Looks like the wheels from the US spec celica
  6. I have an import size plate on the back of my car. From what I understand the size of the plate is irrelevant as long as the letters and numbers are the correct size and font and spaced correctly, and I believe mine is the correct font, but has slightly too small letters to be fully legal. However, because I use my car to deliver pizzas in and work just up the road from a police station, I get pulled over all the time, normally atleast once a week, usually to check its insured properly for business use etc. Not once have the police mentioned the plate, and I have been pulled a couple of times by traffic cops which are the type i'd expect to mention the plate. It's also passed two MOTs with it on, so i'm guessing unless you were unlucky enough to find a cop that really knew every detail in the law, you'd be fine with it on
  7. My wheels cost £300 for all 5 to be refurbed, £160 sounds like a bargain! Although if you're confident enough, doing them yourself would obviously be cheaper still. Slightly off topic, was it you that I went past the other night Danny? Monday night at about 8pm it would of been on the m1. It was definitely a silver celica with some damage to the front drivers side and the TTE spoiler on the back
  8. Happy Birthday L20!

  9. Happy 1 Anniversary L20!

  10. Haha she must get around abit! No number left on my windscreen though so she must have already found the celica and owner for her!
  11. Using my car for pizza deliveries means it gets a fair few comments from customers and randomers on the street. The best two i've had were one guy who i'd driven past on the street stopped me and said what a nice car it was for 'somebody my age' and how did I afford it, when I told him it was 10 years old and worth about £2.5k his jaw dropped haha. He was adamant it was less than three years old, shows you how modern a 15 year old design still looks to the general public. I delivered to one guy with a new shape 5 series beemer on a private plate that i'm assuming wasn't a company car and when he saw my car he said 'I wish I could afford to buy a sports car like that' I didn't like to say that his car was probably worth 10 times what mine was! With regards to the celica being a babe magnet i've caught one rather attractive blonde girl having her photo taken with it outside work, not sure why but I wasn't complaining Also one rainy night a pair of girls that live round the corner from work as it turns out came in as they were walking past and asked if one of our delivery drivers would drop them off round the corner since they had ordered food and didn't want it getting wet walking home, I pulled up outside and they decided they wanted to go home 'in style' so me and the celica were chosen to be their taxi! I got one of their numbers though so it was probably worth the trip
  12. I'm currently on an automotive trip in Belgium with uni and just happened to come across this in a corner of a museum we were visiting in Brussels, thought you'd guys appreciate it. I haven't seen a Gen 1 for a very long time, how many are left in the UK that we know of?
  13. Had a rather attractive blonde call my car 'fit' earlier this evening, when I came back outside she was having her picture taken with it. Damn car gets more attention than me
  14. Happy Birthday L20!

  15. Welcome to Celica Club UK L20 :)
