  1. To me the difference between a working and non working aircon is the value of the car. No aircon, no sale. But if you're less picky, a fair value would probably be £2k-ish.
  2. "Aircon not working (just needs a regas)" always sets alarm bells ringing to me. A regas is £50, so if you're trying to sell any car, why not spend that £50 on getting it regassed? Unless of course it's actually the aircon pump that's knackered or something else more serious.
  3. Simplest solution: get your own (vicious) cat. Other cats will keep away. Then you just have to train the one cat not to sit on your car. You can do this by not keeping your cat food in the car.
  4. You have to say that, don't you?

  5. Go to the Mamas & Papas at TS17 7BT, they'll surely help you find one that fits.
  6. A quick google says Mamas & Papas Protec and Recaro do one.
  7. There are some that fit, but you have to hunt for one.
  8. When I bought my old Celica, it came with metal dust caps. Looked nice, but impossible to get off. Had to get them replaces with nice plastic ones. May look shit, but I prefer inflated shitty looking tyres over nice looking ones that'll kill me.
  9. Be very careful, wear goggles. Explosives can wreck lives.
  10. Yes and no. Have it done and ebay them, buy some new ones.
  11. The top one is a modified Scion tC, it replaced the Celica in the US. The bottom one is the Toyota FT86, which will be released in 2012. Neither are a "new" Celica.
  12. Doesn't "appropriate" mean that it needs to be safe to drive (i.e. have a current MOT, plenty of thread, etc) and fit for you to exercise your role within the company? So if you just have to drive places to visit people, a Smart car could be appropriate.
  13. Is that just for your gen7 customers?
  14. £50-£100, depending on the company.
  15. I'm sure they're more worried about what their hair looks like while crashing.
  16. Get rid. Cars are far cheaper in the US.
  17. Some people call orange alloys "gunmetal gold". Quite popular on certain Subarus.
  18. It's measured the same way, the needle's just pointed a bit too high (or in the case of digital speedos, speed = realSpeed * 1.10).
  19. Wrong. The mileage is spot on. The speedo is adjusted to be a certain margin above the speed to avoid any lawsuits in speeding cases ("My speedo said I was doing X") but the mileage is recorded in terms of revolutions of the wheels, so that actually changes if you put on different sizes wheels.
